Brad Pitt gets my vote for family man and lover of the year after he showed his loyalty to partner Angelina Jolie who recently got a beating from the press after it reported that the 33-year old actress is manipulating the press when it comes to issues involving the Jolie and Pitt clan. The 44-year old Pitt rebounded by saying that the woman being talked about by the New York Times in its report is not only the woman he loves but is also one of the people he has a great respect for. Pitt said he does not see the point in the article which characterized Jolie as manipulative when she is in fact savvy.
The whole clan, referring to his partner Jolie and his parents Jane and Bill Pitt, attended the premiere of Pitt’s latest movie “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” which is one of the leading contenders for the Oscar’s. Pitt said working on the movie which focuses on man’s mortality has been positive on their relationship saying their flare ups just evaporates without them getting into a fight. The Curious Case movie tells about the struggle, life and love of Benjamin Button who was born old and ages in a reverse way.
Pitt seems to be influencing their children with his love for architecture but on a smaller scale as the kids have started building gingerbread houses. Jolie has dedicated most of her time for her family but takes time off every now and then to fulfill her commitments. After showing support for Pitt’s movie, Jolie was seen at the Gran Torino premiere to support her close friend Clint Eastwood. Jolie’s film Changeling which was directed by Eastwood is also in the forefront of the award giving bodies both for best picture and best actress.
