After Brad Pitt’s stunning red carpet appearance during the premiere of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, it is now his leading lady’s turn to shine literally and all. Cate Blanchett was a sparkling image at the red carpet during her latest film’s premiere night.
The Oscar-winning actress bedazzled guests with the shining simplicity of her Balenciaga gown matched with ankle-wrap sandals and a clutch bag. Blanchett looked radiant even if she just arrived from Los Angeles that very morning. Apparently, she was able to get some eight hours of sleep during the flight so she got a much needed rest.
The film’s Sydney premiere was led by “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” lead star Brad Pitt who came dressed in old Hollywood glamour with his partner Angelina Jolie. Pitt’s parents were also there to support him.
The Australian actress, who just got her star, recently attended the special ceremony where she was declared the 2,376th person to get the much-coveted star. Along with her are her family and friends including Steven Spielberg.
