Recently with the opening of a mega city of the Dubai Palms where many of Hollywood most well know celebrities made an appearance Dubai has gained in popularity as well as attained the fancy of former Spice Girls member Geri Halliwell.
Geri Halliwell is reportedly planning to open a new nightclub in the desert city with the help of Nick House, a dating nightclub entrepreneur she is rumored to be currently dating.
I do not know whether at all the two are an item and how long will this business cum pleasure relationship last but from a purely business perspective Dubai makes very little sense to me. The real estate boom is gone and the ripples have shattered Dubai as well and then the city is very close to the terrorism capitals of the world.
Israel is close so is Saudi Arabia and Dubai is the second home to Pakistan. Fire works could well turn into bombs. Really risky business Geri! If I were a business consultant from the west then Dubai won’t be an investment destination I would really be advising.
