Barely a month after their lavish wedding ceremony in Malibu, Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel are experiencing their first bout of marital woes. The conflict stemmed from Josh’s desire to have a baby versus Fergie’s insistence that she is not yet ready to become pregnant. Fergie, who is enjoying a successful career, seems not just ready to put her career on hold yet in favor of a baby even if she known how important that is for her husband. The couple however found a common ground so they are now planning to adopt. This way, Josh gets his baby, Fergie can continue with her career and they can both start a family.
Reports that the two were planning to build a family came after the Black Eyed Peas singer told people at the Los Angeles International Airport that she was pregnant with twins. In fairness to the two it really seems a bit early to discuss baby issues considering that they are just back from their honeymoon which took them to the Maldives and the Bahamas. It was not all play for 33-year old Fergie though as she participated in the MJCI Charity Celebration Galas held at the Atlantis Resort. The 36-year old Duhamel was also seen teeing for Michael Jordan’s Celebrity Invitational Tournament on the island. Work or play, the couple went home with a smile on their faces and a nice tan on their bodies.
