Actor Joaquin Phoenix has gone from strange to more strange. Joaquin Phoenix has been acting so strange lately he has become the butt of jokes in Hollywood. The actor earlier announced he is quitting acting to build a career as a rapper. If he decides to stand pat on his decision to turn rapper, Joaquin Phoenix’s last movie could be the drama “Two Lovers” where he plays a tortured man to Gwyneth Paltrow’s volatile neighbor character.
The movie may just get a big boost thanks to Joaquin Phoenix’s much-publicized strange attitude. He has been getting free publicity lately, albeit a negative one, after he appeared in The David Letterman show. Joaquin Phoenix was so silent and awkward during the TV show where he was supposed to promote the movie so David Letterman came up with the line “I’m sorry you couldn’t be here tonight”. He was also mimicked by Ben Stiller in last Sunday’s Academy Awards and was featured as a gun-chewing, bearded and seemingly “off” man. However, his producers are fearful that Joaquin Phoenix’s strange appearance and attitude might backfire on the film. What do you think?
