What kind of mother would name her son lckitt? Not M.I.A, for sure as the British-born rapper confirmed to reporters earlier. M.I.A is Mathangi “Maya” Arulpragasam in real life so to avoid slipping with the name, let’s just call her M.I.A. While thanking the press for the publicity given to her baby, M.I.A. however said the baby does not need it because he is a baby. And no, she has not definitely named her son lckitt.
Celebrity websites included M.I.A’s son in the list of weird celebrity baby names but the new mom said no thanks. The real name of the child is however still unknown as of this time. In her MySpace Blog, M.I.A. said she did not release the baby’s name because she did not think it was news-worthy. She however promised she will be back soon with something news worthy. M.I.A gave birth to her first and fiancé Benjamin Bronfman a week after she performed at the Grammy Award.
