Robin Williams is taking some much needed rest but that is only because the comedian and actor is recovering from a heart surgery which his doctors say was carried out successfully. The actor is currently taking rest at a hospital in Cleveland.
A heart surgery to replace an aortic value was conducted upon Robin Williams on March 13 at the Cleveland Clinic. The recovery time has been set for 8 weeks post which the actor can start performing normal functions if all goes well.
Initially Robin Williams received medical treatment at the University of Miami Hospital after which he was shifted to Cleveland. Earlier in the month he complained of shortness of breath and subsequently canceled his one-man comedy show, “Weapons of Self-Destruction.”
This man is a great actor and who can forget his roles in movies like Jumanji and Mrs. Doubtfire plus many others so we can all just hope that he recovers soon and is backing doing what he does best that is making people laugh.
