The singer has reportedly spent two hundred thousand dollars on baby stuff; this leading to the rumors that Mariah Carey may be expecting a baby girl. A source also said something interesting about Mariah Carey’s plans for her new home in Los Angeles: “It’s 45,000 sq ft and looks like a European castle. It’s so big, it can’t even be called a mansion – it’s similar to Buckingham Palace! She has asked interior decorator Kenneth Bordewick to advise on her new home and has requested an all-pink nursery. It’s going to be over the top!” Why does a pink nursery have to always be for a girl? Who’s to say Mariah Carey isn’t planning on having an overly-sensitive baby boy? And after all… what if the girl turns out to be into goth stuff… she’ll utterly despise the pink room she grew up in and Mariah Carey can’t have that, can she?
