The recent scandal involving Michael Phelps is not enough to break his family. Michael Phelps was earlier castigated for being photographed while holding a marijuana device. This resulted to his suspension as well as from the withdrawal of Kellogg’s as his sponsor. Michael Phelps however immediately apologized not only to the people who idolized him but more importantly to his mother Debbie Phelps.
Debbie Phelps however said neither an absent dad nor a scandalous photo will bring her family down. She said no one’s life is perfect and she has never expected a fairytale existence especially after her son’s photo was published. Debbie Phelps she is a nurturing and supporting person who always holds a hand and trying to understand. She said she has always enjoyed good communication with her three children. She said she knows her children are learning from her advices and from their mistakes.
