Madonna’s controversial concert:

The famous pop singer wants to stage a show in the center square of St. Petersburg where the National Hermitage Museum is located. However, local authorities are furious about Madonna’s plan due to her reputation for raunchy performances. The museum’s director had this to say about Madonna’s plans to perform: “We want guarantees that there will be no blasphemy.” And that is in reference to the fact that they want Madonna to sing agreements regarding decency and volume levels. Too bad for Madonna, even though I don’t understand how much harm she would actually do. It’s not like they’re going to start sacrificing and sodomizing at the museum… and besides, what good is faith if it is not put to the test every now and again.
