Debbie Gibson is Desperate for Work

Deborah Gibson is getting pretty desperate. The washed up 80s mall pop princess is reaching out to her fans via Twitter to try and sway execs to cast her on the next season of Dancing with the Stars. She claimed that “DWTS won’t cast me cuz I did skating show!? I didn’t produce it – just on it! Did u guys know that? Start a petition!!!!” and that “Most of the team there wants me – 1 or 2 people are putting up a roadblock in every season my name’s in the ring.” Really now? If that were so, her name would have popped up every single time that the list of possible cast members got leaked. And yet, I’ve never heard or read her name anywhere.
