Guy Ritchie is reportedly scared of dying in a hotel room and recently asked to swap rooms when he had “bad vibes” about the room he had been allocated.

The 40-year-old director was staying at the five-star Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, when he had “bad vibes” about the room, known as Bungalow 3.

The ex-husband of superstar Madonna was reportedly spooked after he discovered The Blues Brothers’ star John Belushi died there of a drugs overdose in 1982.

A source said: “Guy freaked out and asked to be moved out immediately.”

He is now reportedly planning to check each hotel room before he books in.

The source added: “He told his mates about it. He was really scared.”

An official at the hotel said: “We never comment on matters relating to our guests.”
