Katie Holmes has said she is “looking forward” to moving to Australia for three months to shoot her new film

Katie Holmes has said she is “looking forward” to moving to Australia for three months to shoot her new film.

The 30-year-old mum is moving her family Down Under while she shoots the thriller Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark.

Katie said: “I’m really looking forward to it.”

Katie’s husband Tom Cruise, 46, will also be joining her in Australia, along with their three-year-old daughter Suri.

The film is about a young girl who moves in with her father and his girlfriend, played by Katie, and discovers the house is home to some strange creatures.

Talking about the film, she said: “The movie is really character-driven. It’s really about her journey to becoming a mother. In the midst of that, there are unexpected scares.”
