Screen tough guy Mark Wahlberg finally agreed to marry long-time girlfriend Rhea Durham after the couple’s daughter softened his heart.
The happy couple have been together for nearly nine years and have three children, but have never tied the knot.
Now Wahlberg has finally popped the question to Durham after their daughter Ella, five, told them they needed to get married so she could be their flower girl.
Ella’s request touched Wahlberg’s heart so much, the couple have now set a date of August 1 to finally exchange I Dos.
A source close to Wahlberg revealed: “Mark and Rhea are inviting about 30 guests and plan on having a small quiet reception after a wedding mass.
“Rhea has found the perfect dress, a traditional white wedding gown, and their little daughter Ella already has her pink flower girl dress.
“Ella is the apple of Mark’s eye and when she began applying pressure for a wedding, he couldn’t resist.”
