Britain’s Got Talent is facing a lot of backlash with Susan Boyle entering The Priory rehab clinic. Critics and fans alike are placing the blame on the show’s producers for the singer’s emotional breakdown that followed her loss last weekend. They claim that the producers and ITV went against section 8 of the broadcasting code in the UK which states “People in a state of distress should not be put under pressure to take part in a programme or provide interviews, unless it is warranted.” Susan had been suffering from growing anxiety as the finals drew closer. Spokespeople for the show are looking into the claim and are taking it very seriously. Of course they should. Susan is still a possible big star.
