Celebrity cook Jamie Oliver has revealed that he would have been a carpenter, if he had not become a chef.
The 34-year-old dad-of-three was asked what type of job he would have liked to have had, had he not got into cooking.
He said: “Probably a carpenter. I love the feeling of turning beautiful bits of gnarly wood into furniture.”
He added: “I don’t often get the opportunity to do it properly, but I’m geeky enough to go out and buy a massive piece of wood and turn it into a chopping board.”
