Country Singer Bitter at Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood

George Jones, an elderly country western singer, isn’t too pleased and impressed with Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift for having fused country and pop music, saying that the two young singers have stolen the genre’s identity. He said “They’re definitely not traditional country music. It’s good to know that we still do traditional country music. Alan Jackson still does it, so does George Strait. We still have it, and there’s quite a few of us that are going to hope that it comes back one of these days.” I don’t hear any of the other country artists complaining so I doubt that he should. He’s just bitter that no one remembers him.
