Sharon Osbourne has apologised to Susan Boyle for insulting her on a US radio station.
Osbourne, 57, had insulted Boyle, 48, on Sirius XM Radio and said she was a ‘lovely lady’ who had been hit by ‘the ugly stick’.
She then insulted her further and said: “You just want to say God bless and here’s a Gillette razor.”
However Osbourne has now apologised for her comments.
She took to her Twitter page to post an apology, writing: “Susan Boyle is a lovely gracious woman and I took advantage of that by poking fun at her.
“I would never want to be responsible for hurting Susan and I must apologise for getting a cheap laugh at her expense.”
