It’s the end of the decade – and here is how some of the world’s best-known faces could look in another 10 years’ time, according to a top forensic artist.
US forensic artist Joe Mullins looked into the future by taking recent photographs of superstars including Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, David and Victoria Beckham, Madonna, Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears.
He used the latest computer technology and took into account each of the A-listers’ lifestyles to predict how they might look in 2020 – if the years are not kind to them.
Mullins says having a lot of children could take its toll on celebrity mums like Angelina Jolie, 34, and Victoria Beckham, 35, who will have teenage kids to keep them on their toes.
Brad Pitt, 46, could age more gracefully with a full head of silver hair, while David Beckham, 34, will be heading more towards Golden Oldie than Goldenballs after hanging up his boots.
Party girls Paris Hilton, 28, and Lindsay Lohan, 23, could be paying the price for years of late nights out on the town.
Britney Spears, 28, may be reaping the rewards for getting her life back on track with only a few wrinkles around her eyes.
But today’s bright young starlets like Miley Cyrus, 17, and Twilight pair Kristen Stewart, 19, and Robert Pattinson, 23, could be in danger of burn-out and becoming jaded by their early success.
Even Madonna could find age finally catching up with her as she will be 61 at the start of 2020.
Mullins says the age progression process is a mix of art and science.
He said: “An adult face can change significantly in the span of 10 years, depending on your lifestyle.
“A quick ageing trick is to put your hands on the side of your face and then pull down. Gravity is not kind to most of us.
“This is what the celebrities would probably look like if they didn’t take care of themselves. I’ve given them 10 hard years.
“Perhaps they can hang these pictures on the bathroom mirror as motivation to live healthy.”
