Sharon Stone will guest star on Law & Order: SVU as a police officer turned prosecutor.
Stone’s run will extend for four episodes of the popular series starring Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni, NBC announced.
The show’s creator Dick Wolf said: “It is obviously a thrill and a delight to have a star of Sharon’s wattage and importance joining SVU.”
Stone joins a list of high-profile actors who have made guest appearances on SVU, including Robin Williams, Carol Burnett, Chris Elliot, Luke Perry and Cynthia Nixon. The screen actress was awarded an Emmy in 2004 for her appearance on television’s The Practice.
Stone will appear in upcoming films that include Dirty Tricks with Annette Bening, Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Pitt.
