Britney Spears splashed out on a private jet to party at her sister’s baby shower - but appeared to have skimped on the pennies by buying gifts from bargain shop Walmart.

The multi-millionairess shunned public transport on a home visit back to Kentwood by boarding the luxury plane at a private airport in Mississippi with mum Lynne and dad Jamie.

Dressed in cutesy pink shorts and a stripey t-shirt from Abercrombie and Fitch, Brit looked young and fresh-faced again.

Let’s hope her carbon footprint was worth it and she had more treats for Jaime Lynn on the plane.

Victoria Beckham has reignited her feud with Britney Spears.

The Spice Girls star - who first fell out with Britney when the ‘Toxic’ star reportedly refused to sit next to her at prestigious Los Angeles’ hotel Chateau Marmont last year - has now blasted the 26-year-old for not having any personal input into her perfume line.

Speaking about the launch of her new dVb denim range for men, Victoria said: “I’m a complete control freak and I want everything to be perfect. I’m not doing a Britney Spears and just putting my name on something and saying, ‘Sell this perfume.’ This is a real passion of mine. People think all I do is go shopping like a miserable cow, but, in actual fact, I work bloody hard.”

Mother-of-three Victoria also revealed how she likes her husband, soccer star David Beckham, to wear his denims.

She added: “I think guys should wear jeans big and baggy, with a big pair of boots or flip-flops - exactly how you see David when he’s out in his jeans and T-shirt. Do not pull them up tight and have your bulge showing. Let it hang! I didn’t want anything too tight around the crotch. That really repulses me. It might be fashionable, but you are not going to get that from dVb.”

Victoria recently revealed she would hate to have Britney’s life, adding: “I could never live a life like Britney Spears, who is under the spotlight every day. “I couldn’t do that. I would go stir crazy. I need my privacy with my husband and children otherwise I’d just go loopy.”

Britney Spears has finally gotten what she’s lacked since January 3 – a visit from her two boys. People is reporting that the fallen pop star got to see her boys on Saturday when they were driven by ex-hubby Kevin Federline’s bodyguard to her Studio City home. And per the conditions of the agreement between her lawyers and KFed’s lawyers, Jamie Spears and a psychiatrist were also present for the visitation which is also said to be in a therapeutic setting. I wonder what she did with the boys. I also wonder whether they got to have any grandpa bonding time.

Friday marked Jennier Love Hewitt’s 29th birthday. She and fiancee Ross McCall celebrated at steakhouse Morton’s in L.A.

As yet another mark of her lack of current hotness, only one paparazzi member showed up to capture the event. The picture taker said, “I just wanetd to wish you a happy birthday on behalf fof all the paparazzi. Unfortunately, the other 500 guys are on Britney right now.”

It’s been kinda nice to see him out of the picture. No nasty stories about him; no seeing him tag along with Britney. But, he’s back.

Well, not really. So his name is out there today - cops for the LAPD say they are not out to arrest Sam Lufti. Despite rumors that they want him on charges of allegedly drugging Britney, they say that’s not true. They say there is no investigation of that sort.

Sam’s spokesperson Michael Sands says, “Internet tabloid gossip Web sites need to stop reporting bogus stories without knowing the truth. They need to stop brainwashing the public.”

Troubled singer Britney Spears, who was recently admitted to a Los Angeles hospital for psychological evaluation, has contacted a new lawyer because she is tired of being told what to do.

Britney, whose father Jamie is co-conservator of her estate and all her legal decisions, told prospective lawyer Jon Eardley: “I want my life back. I want to be able to drive my car. I want to be able to live in my house by myself. I want to say who is going to be my security guard. I want to see who I want to see at any time and make it happen.”

Britney is said to be considering hiring Eardley for her custody case with ex-husband Kevin Federline over their two sons - Sean Preston, two, and 17-month-old Jayden James. Kevin currently has full custody due to Britney’s erratic behaviour, which has resulted in her losing all visitation rights to the boys.

Meanwhile, Britney spent most of the weekend with her father and her assistant Brett inside her Beverly Hills home. However they did venture out to Hollywood restaurant Social Hollywood on Saturday night. A fellow diner said: “She seemed totally normal and level-headed, and everyone with her seemed calm. She was with a table of five people.”

Britney - who is currently dating British photographer Adnan Ghalib - was also seen shopping at a Los Angeles wedding dress store, sparking yet more speculation she is to wed for a third time.

Without her own kids with her to dance with, Britney Spears spent Tuesday afternoon shaking it with a bunch of youngsters not too much older than Sean Preston. Usmagazine.com reports that the pop wreck got five year old grooving to the sounds of Madonna’s ‘Material Girl’ while clad in fishnet stockings, a short skirt and her brown boots. Start them young. Millennium Dance Complex owner Robert Baker says that she had to introduce herself to the kids.

Would you want your kids to be taught by Britney? It’s a scary thought but once your kids start dressing in fishnets before they hit 10, then it’s a whole other story.

In case you’re behind on your Britney gossip, her business manager Howard Grossman is big buddies from way back with one Sam Lufti. Hmm, conflict of interests, perhaps?

A court order has given Britney’s father (as her temporary conservator) the right to fire Grossman. Grossman was given orders to give up “all documents, records, and assets relating to Britney Spears.” Grossman says he has no idea why they’ve decided to do this.

Additionally, Britney’s custody lawyers Trope and Trope have filed papers asking to be released from her case. They no longer want to represent her in her dispute with Kevin Federline. Sorrell Trope says, “We filed paper asking to be relieved, and hopefully they will find someone to replace us. I’m not at liberty to say more at this time.”

It seems Britney’s doctor has deemed her ok to leave. She was placed on a 14 day hold that only he could release her from. But today, she left the hospital quietly this afternoon. She was later seen leaving her home in Summit Circle.

No one has made any official comment as of yet. There is still a restraining order keeping Sam Lufti far away from her, so maybe that will help. It isn’t known yet if she will be doing outpatient treatment or not.

It comes as some relief to know that Britney is being kept away from the men who seem to make her crazy. It has been said that her father had taken out a restraining order against Sam Lufti. Now it appears that they aren’t letting Adnan Ghalib, her crazy cook lover, in either. Apparently he arrived at the UCLA Medical Center laden with gifts and flowers for Brit-Brit. Sources say, though, that Momma Spears wouldn’t let him in. Allegedly, Lynne turned him away. He stood around for about thirty minutes but finally left without seeing her. It might be a good move for him; if he stays away and she stays crazy, no one can keep blaming him for it!

Well we saw it coming really – it was the only outcome of recent events in the world of Britney Spears. The singer was taken to hospital and sectioned under the mental health act.

Flanked by a police convoy, Britney was willingly taken to hospital in an ambulance after her psychiatrist felt her mental condition had deteriorated. She will be placed on a 5150 hold at the UCLA medical centre for 72 hours – meaning she is a danger to herself and others.

Mum Lynne and boyfriend Adnan Ghalib followed Spears to hospital. Dad Jamie arrived later looking very red eyed. Manager Sam Lufti was also present; although it seems that Lufti and Britney’s parents clashed over who was to make the medical decisions.

A judge will ultimately decide who will officially be responsible. This will be Britney’s second spell under 5150 in a month.

Rosie’s always been a little outspoken, and now she’s aiming that at Britney Spears and her family. She blames Britney’s early stardom for her meltdowns. After three days without sleep and nights spent talking to trees, troubled star Britney Spears is in official meltdown. Her psychiatrist paid her a midnight call and is thought to be trying to have her sectioned under the Mental Health act once again for her own safety.

Mum Lynne and manager, Sam Lufti, are currently in the house with Britney, who is said to inert, unresponsive and confused.

This new breakdown comes after Britney went on a 5am shopping trip to buy Red Bull and constipation pills before continuing her habit of driving aimlessly around Los Angeles all night in her new car.

At one point she stopped inexplicably in the middle of a canyon road, clambered from the Mercedes and confessed to the waiting photographers she was dizzy, afraid and wanted to go home. She then padded into the forest making strange faces and muttering to the trees in her new mock British accent.

The psychiatrist was told about the driving and decided she must be hospitalised on another “5150 hold” - which her manager agrees with.

Poor Britney. Incidentally, boyfriend Adnan is nowhere to be seen.

And she wants everyone to be convinved that she’s such a good mother. Oh wait, maybe she can teach them what kind of girl to stay away from when they grow up.

Britney Spears headed out for some fun Friday night and was wrapped in a long coat. As the night went by, she slowly peeled away layer after layer of clothing. By the end of the night, she was down to a little red shirt that was practically falling off.

Ok I know the world and his wife are probably sick to the back teeth of the Britney Spears and Adnan Ghalib saga. I know I pretty much am. However the man just keeps pushing to the point where you can’t help but comment on it.

Just a month into their relationship, Adnan claims to ‘risk’ Britney never speaking to him again to allegedly clear his name. In reality what he is doing is creating more scandal, and money-making opportunities, by lifting the lid on their affair and telling all to two US TV shows.

Whilst refuting claims he’s trying to sell pictures of Britney, the snapper went as far as to compare them to tragic couple Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed and claiming that the star wants to have a baby with him after being banned from seeing her own kids. He also played private voicemail messages from Britney.

He insisted he is speaking out merely to clear his name and slammed reports he is exploiting Britney to rake in cash, denying he made any financial gain from the interviews. But he admitted it could mean the fallen starlet never speaks to him again, and shatter his dreams of marrying her. Adnan also slammed critics who have questioned his relationship with the chart-topper, saying they do not want her to find true happiness, “Whatever it takes. Scandal sells”.

Everyone is pretty much sure that Britney Spears is suffering from some sort of bipolar disorder. For months, maybe since the whole custody battle began, Commissioner Scott Gordon has repeatedly ordered the pop wreck to undergo psychological tests but she has not complied. But it now seems that a medical intervention is about to go down.

Brit’s divorce lawyers have reportedly devised a plan to get the fallen pop star into treatment. People are saying that it’s outpatient treatment that would allow professionals to “evaluate and treat” her condition. They’re also saying that Britney is “receptive” to the idea but that it’s not a done deal.

Britney Spears has finally attended a deposition when she was supposed to. The braless singer and her ‘manager’ Sam Lufti arrived at the offices of Kevin Federline’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan in Los Angeles at 10.45am on Mon and left around 1pm.

Britney, who reportedly spoke in a British accent, gave evidence in the couple’s prolonged child custody battle, answering questions about parenting, her drug and alcohol abuse and her ability to provide adequate care to her two young sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Britney’s attendance at the office follows a series of no-shows at previous appointments and court hearings. Is it a case of better late than never? And what is with the British accent?

Earlier it was reported that Britney Spears was seen purchasing a pregnancy test at a Rite Aid drug store. She was accompanied by her boyfriend Adnan Ghalib. Rumors flew about her possible third pregnancy in as many years.

She has issued a statement now saying that she is not pregnant. She says she was buying the test for a friend and has no need for one.

All we can do is expel a collective sigh of relief that the singer has not spawned again because a baby is the last thing she needs right now.

Who said that you can only wear a wedding dress once and just for walking down the aisle? That may be the general rule but we’re all aware that when it comes to Britney Spears, there are no rules. People is reporting that the pop wreck was seen wearing her wedding dress from her walk down the aisle with KFed while she was shopping for a new car with her pap friend.

Brit and her boy toy dropped by a Mercedes-Benz dealership so that the photographer can check out some new wheels and finally get rid of his rental car. A sales associate said that Brit was quiet and did not appear that she would be buying a car. It’s a miracle! She has a brain!

Another custody hearing has been scheduled on Monday and it is being said that it could be one of the most important days in the life of Britney Spears. Although she is not legally required to show up in court, the pop wreck needs to show her face to the judge and explain herself is she’s got any hope of getting her kids back. People are saying that if she doesn’t show or if she is uncooperative, it could be the end for her custody case.

Furthermore, police sources say that Commissioner Scott Gordon will hear firsthand eyewitness accounts of last Thursday’s breakdown from LAPD, fire fighters and paramedics who were on the scene. And we all know that’s not going to be a pretty picture.

It was announced last Friday that Dr. Phil was going to tape a show Monday to air Wednesday concerning Britney Spears and the recent drama surrounding her. He has announced today, however, that he had cancelled those plans. This was announced via his website.

He said, “We had planned to tape a Dr. Phil Now show today, focusing not on the tabloid side of Britney’s latest problems, but instead on the very serious issues surrounding this case. Clearly, it is not just Britney’s family struggling to find a way to protect adult children who cannot be ordered or compelled to seek help.”

Dr. Phil continued,”Because the Spears situation is too intense at this time, and out of consideration to the family, I have made the decision not to move forward with the taping at this particular time.”

I have to give kudos to Dr. Phil for that one. Sure, I like to chat about her, too, but the girl needs some serious help, and maybe she needs us all to butt out for a while so she can do that in privacy.

In a bizarre twist, Britney Spears claims that the only person she can trust at the moment is new paparazzi friend Adnan Ghalib. After fleeing from hospital where she was taken late Thursday night on suspicion of a drug induced psychosis, Britney is now holed up with her new ‘chums’ in a rented mansion. These new friends consist of Ghalib and three of his photographer friends.

Adnan met Britney last month when she took him back to her hotel room for an evening. He spent the New Year with the star and her children; but left before the breakdown that took her to a hospital bed.

Britney claims, “He is my only friend in the world” and has shunned help from family and friends.

One source said, “Britney is on the edge. It’s worrying — and ironic — that the only person she feels she can turn to is a paparazzo. It’s like the lamb going to stay with the wolfpack. Britney knows Adnan because he has followed her relentlessly for months. Her family are astonished a photographer is the person Britney turns to when she needs to step out of the media storm. They fear she has lost her grip on reality so much that she feels her only friends are the paparazzi.”

There’s some new development in the Britney Spears custody case. An order has been obtained and sources say that you have to read between the lines but it pretty much says that Commissioner Scott Gordon has ordered the pop wreck to sit for her deposition. Britney failed to show for her original scheduled depo a few weeks back saying that she was ill. But she was spotted later that night partying it up. It’s what prompted KFed’s lawyer to subpoena the paparazzi video of her partying that same night.

Sources say that Britney will take the oath and submit to the deposition by the first week of January.

It seems she just can’t learn her lesson. In past months Britney Spears has been involved in countless driving incidents including running a red light, driving over a policeman’s foot; and recently she was banned from having her kids in the car with her when she was driving. But all this obviously isn’t enough to turn the pop star into the model driver.

In a move sure to prevent the ruling about her kids being overturned, Miss Spears was caught on camera by Hollywood TV sending a text on her mobile phone whilst driving. Now you would think that as a big celeb; used to being followed by the press, Britney would think twice about misbehaving and getting away with it. Doesn’t she know by now the paparazzi have a way of seeing everything?

Britney, honey, hire a chauffeur or something. You really oughtn’t to be on the roads.

Britney Spears has been banned from driving with her young sons in the same car after her ex-husband Kevin Federline’s attorney called an emergency court hearing to question her road skills. Kevin’s lawyer is not a “gangster lawyer”. The whole issue is the safety of the kids. Britney doesn’t seem to care about any of it. she blatantly disregards what she is being asked to do in order to even get back 50/50 custody.She is really messed up and I am beginning to believe the theory that she really does not want the kids. Hell…she just bought a new car that seats 2!I really wish the court would mandate her getting treated at a mental health facility outside of California. Maybe it will also mean that she’ll even stay home now those two days and one overnight she has the kids. Knowing her she’ll just leave them home with a nanny and the monitor and keep going out for her starbuck, gas station, taco bell, target, run etc. But I hope not.

I feel this girl has great need to have a mentor right now. Obviously she has lost faith in herself. She wants to be validated as okay, because her ex was someone that she thought would be part of her life forever. Now that they are divorced, she feels like a failure and feels “why try to be a better person, I am a failure, so why even try”?
I wish I could just take this girl and bring her into my home secretly so the public wouldn’t hound her. She may be a big star always in the publics’ eye; however that doesn’t mean it is truely what she’s happy with. Right now she’s in a bad place emotionally and has lost all faith in herself that she is worth having anything good. She loves her boys but has lost the way to prove it to the world that she does. She needs help. I am in school now and we study different psychological disorders and she needs one-on-one help with someone who will not judge her, nor be overwhelmed by her star image. She is a person first, a mother second and star last.

The reason she gave for canceling was pink eye (and I don’t’ blame her if that’s true) - and to be honest with you, no one should come running when Oprah calls. She just another person who wants to exploit Brit’s life. And anyways Oprah wouldn’t have the intention of helping her and getting some doc to sit and talk to her, she would have made her cry again by asking some personal questions about her sons. Why would she call her back? To be honest, I’d be surprised to find out that this story is even true. I’d never thought it to be Oprah’s personality to “call personally” to get someone on her show, which is obviously having major issues at this time in their life. The whole this is just not her style, at least now right NOW in her life. I could see her doing something like this years down the road after Britney got her shit together. I think its all bullshit.

It’s all happy in Spearsville as Britney and her little sister Jamie Lynn were spotted making a stop at Taco Bell last Saturday. They were, of course, being tailed by dozens of paparazzi. The paps aren’t much of a problem for Brit nowadays. It seems that windows are more trouble.

Britney tried to order their food but after several tries, the employees still couldn’t get her order. Why? Her window was still raised up! The photographers finally took pity on the helpless girl and placed the order for her and even brought the food to her.

How hard is it to go to a drive thru? Hasn’t she been doing that pretty much everyday?

I know all of you are already tired of hearing/reading about Britney Spears but this one is juicy one. There you have it, HSM star Vanessa had her sex tape released as she thought that she was not being credited with the success of the movie and the release of the sex tape on the internet has done the trick for her and she is considering other proposals as well. Now well naturally Britney’s life and career is down the drain so why not put out a sex tape. I guess it could not really hurt her career. However it would hurt her chances of getting her kids back. Then again perhaps she does not want them back. I still think she was using them to just get more publicity for herself. But I don’t understand how anyone can say anything negative about Britney spears for this … it clearly says he did it without her knowledge… Which he obviously just did because she’s Britney spears and saw a chance for money…

Apparently the court is willing to bet that Britney Spears is already a little stronger than yesterday. Two days after losing custody of her two sons to her ex-husband, a family court commissioner granted the troubled pop star monitored visitation rights with two-year-old Sean Preston and year-old Jayden James. It’s funny someone mentioned that they hope this doesn’t turn to tragedy…I was just telling someone that the people and paparazzi won’t be happy until this girl kills herself. Hope Brit’s mom still loves the fact that she whored out her daughter as a child so she could be a megastar and take care of the rest of the family that doesn’t work (except for the other daughter she’s getting checks from). Her mom makes me sick. Now where is her mom when Britney is facing all these charges and facing the worst crisis in her life, she must still be checking that bank account balance to see how many years of reserves she has to fulfill her dreams?
