Jamie Spears, father and now likely “owner” of the pop legend Britney Spears, is out to do everything he can to keep her former manager away. Jamie Spears had this to say about his daughter’s former manager when giving a testimony at the LA court: “When Lutfi was in so-called control, she’d lost everything – her kids and career. I believe he’s a predator, I believe he’s very dangerous to her and causes her a lot of anguish and disbelief. We’ve asked him to go away before, and now he’s coming back. We just want the man to go away. Just leave us alone.” Oh yeah, and keeping your daughter under surveillance and legal “protection” is a much better way to go. You can tell just by looking at the photo he’s no savior either. Poor, poor Britney Spears… oh well, life goes on!

Britney Spears’ former manager Sam Lutfi has recently filed a lawsuit against the singer’s parents. His lawyer, Bryan Freedman said “This lawsuit is being brought as a result of the defamation, ridicule and harassment of Sam Lutfi by Jamie Spears and Lynne Spears. A thorough investigation has revealed overwhelming evidence from independent witnesses, showing that Lynne Spears knowingly and maliciously publicized devastating false information about Lutfi which destroyed his reputation, irreparably harmed his career, and subjected him to constant scorn and humiliation… The facts of this case will reveal Jamie and Lynne’s conduct in light of these questions. It will unequivocally explain the motivation of two people who are seemingly willing to destroy anyone and anything that gets in the way of their ability to control and profit from their daughter. Through this action, the truth about Jamie, Lynne and their relentless desire to control Britney Spears and her fortune will be revealed.”

The ball just keeps rolling for Britney Spears and well the pop singer has delighted fans by announcing the dates of the North American leg of her upcoming world tour – and she will be giving performances in 20 different cities.

Britney Spears will be performing in cities such Los Angeles, Washington & Dallas on the tour that will commence in March and will run till the last week of April. That’s not all there’s more fantastic news for fans the Pussycat Dolls will be supporting Britney Spears on her tour.

Well now that she announced her tour dates and the release of the album too happening what we will have to wait and see is how well the album does. I guess the reps for Britney will be working over time talking to her record company trying to get hour by hour updates on the latest sales figures.

In a recent interview about her upcoming documentary, Britney Spears had a few things to say about her past: “I used to be a cool chick but I feel like the paparazzi has taken that away from me, like, the way I used to live my life. I used to be a cool chick but I’m not anymore.” Of course she was… and I’m sure that everybody believes her. She is to sing at the American Music Awards on Sunday at Los Angeles and the show’s host, Jimmy Kimmel, says there is a surprise in store for her, but not even he knows what it is. He said: “Apparently, there is some big surprise. I sent the producer an email yesterday and he was like, I can’t tell you.” I wonder what the paparazzi are planning for her this time.

Britney Spears will be celebrating her twenty-seventh birthday this year with the release of her sixth studio album, Circus. The highly anticipated album set for a December 2nd release features the # 1 hit “Womanizer” as well as collaborations with Max Martin, Dr. Luke, Danja, Guy Sigsworth (Madonna, Alanis Morissette) and more. Well, apparently she is making progress with her comeback attempt and has recently released her number 1 single “Womanizer.” We can perfectly tell that she has made significant success both in her career and her personal life ever since her father, Jamie Spears, has taken over her life earlier this year.

Recently, the 26-year old singer / actress has agreed to permanent conservator ship with her father which was supposed to end this December. This may prove to be great for her future progress but some family law experts say that this may also jeopardize her custody chances.

We ask ourselves, why would it jeopardize her chances of gaining sole custody of her two sons? Imagine it this way, Britney Spears is 26 years old and yet she still needs the guidance of her father to get her life back on track? People as young as 18 are expected to stand on their own feet. Her father won’t be around her entire life, does that mean she goes back spiralling down like she did before? If she couldn’t handle herself as an adult, how could she manage raising two kids to become responsible adults?

The sizzling hot “Crazy” singer has recently shown her regret on her much-publicized unpredictable and inconsistent behavior in public. She also discussed her loneliness in a forthcoming video.

Britney Spears very openly discussed her irresponsible attitude in the past saying, “I sit there and I’ll look back and I’m like: I’m a smart person. What the hell was I thinking?”

The ninety minutes duration film which is titled “For the Record” is produced in partnership with MTV.

The pop queen also said, “I’ve been through a lot in the past two or three years, and there’s a lot that people don’t know. Sometimes I think I get kind of lonely because you don’t open the gate up that much, you know I mean?”

She further added, “You’re guarded. You have to be that way, so I’m kind of stuck in this place and it’s like: How do you deal? And you just cope, and that’s what I do. I just cope with it, every day.”

The film will be telecasted on MTV on November 30, two days before the release of her new album, “Circus”.

I hope that Britney learns some lessons from her “bright” past and does not repeat her mistakes in future. She is definitely THE BEST.

The musical legend – who is currently in Las Vegas completing her ‘Showgirl Must Go On’ residency – argues young stars need to put more depth into their shows.

She said: “They don’t speak. They don’t talk to their audience. They may say, ‘Hello, New York’ or ‘Hello, Las Vegas,’ in the beginning, and ‘Thank you’ in between songs, but they don’t talk. They don’t tell stories or take the time to make a connection, build a rapport. There’s no emotion.”

She added: “Video really did kill the radio star. Victoria Beckham has reignited her feud with Britney Spears.

The Spice Girls star – who first fell out with Britney when the ‘Toxic’ star reportedly refused to sit next to her at prestigious Los Angeles’ hotel Chateau Marmont last year – has now blasted the 26-year-old for not having any personal input into her perfume line.

Speaking about the launch of her new dVb denim range for men, Victoria said: “I’m a complete control freak and I want everything to be perfect. I’m not doing a Britney Spears and just putting my name on something and saying, ‘Sell this perfume.’ This is a real passion of mine. People think all I do is go shopping like a miserable cow, but, in actual fact, I work bloody hard.”

Mother-of-three Victoria also revealed how she likes her husband, soccer star David Beckham, to wear his denims.

She added: “I think guys should wear jeans big and baggy, with a big pair of boots or flip-flops – exactly how you see David when he’s out in his jeans and T-shirt. Do not pull them up tight and have your bulge showing. Let it hang! I didn’t want anything too tight around the crotch. That really repulses me. It might be fashionable, but you are not going to get that from dVb.”

Victoria recently revealed she would hate to have Britney’s life, adding: “I could never live a life like Britney Spears, who is under the spotlight every day. “I couldn’t do that. I would go stir crazy. I need my privacy with my husband and children otherwise I’d just go loopy.”
