The Jackson family will lay son and pops star Michael to rest in a private burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery in suburban Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Acting Mayor Jan Perry said the star would be buried shortly before his memorial starts at 10 am at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.

The burial will take place at 8 am at Forest Lawn in Glendale.

A source was quoted saying some Jackson family members will start the day at the Encino family compound and make their way to the cemetery before going on to the Staples event.

The funeral will end speculation the family would wait to clear legal hurdles to bury Jackson at his Neverland Ranch.

Public Enemies star Johnny Depp has revealed he used his own family as inspiration for his new film.

Depp, 46, plays the role of gangster John Dillinger in the film and said his own grandfather and stepfather were often on the wrong side of the law.

He said: “It has to do with my family and my upbringing. My grandfather, who I was close to as a kid, had run moonshine into dry countries and my stepfather had also been a bit of a rogue.

“He’d done burglaries and robberies and had spent some time in Statesville Prison in Illinois, where we actually ended up shooting some of the film.”

Depp also revealed he found a mugshot of his stepfather, Robert Palmer, who passed away in 2000, while going through records at the prison.

A source said that Gerri Halliwell loved being in a relationship but not when marriage is required. She believes she only needs her daughter Bluebell to keep her company and to keep her happy. It is understandable that Fabrizio Politi is upset about the whole fiasco but he respects the decision of Geri Halliwell. The 36-year old Geri Halliwell has a reputation for getting cold feet so her friends are no longer surprised. Geri Halliwell however admitted she can be fickle and that she has commitment issues.

McElhone, who has three sons, has been faced with the tragic death of her husband, plastic surgeon Martin Kelly. Kelly died of a heart attack right at the front door of his home last year even before McElhon could give birth to their third child making her a widow with lots of responsibilities. She admitted that with her career and a family to take care of she does not really have much time to follow a rigorous beauty routine and Neutrogena helps her in this aspect. Barely a month after their lavish wedding ceremony in Malibu, Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel are experiencing their first bout of marital woes. The conflict stemmed from Josh’s desire to have a baby versus Fergie’s insistence that she is not yet ready to become pregnant. Fergie, who is enjoying a successful career, seems not just ready to put her career on hold yet in favor of a baby even if she known how important that is for her husband. The couple however found a common ground so they are now planning to adopt. This way, Josh gets his baby, Fergie can continue with her career and they can both start a family.

Reports that the two were planning to build a family came after the Black Eyed Peas singer told people at the Los Angeles International Airport that she was pregnant with twins. In fairness to the two it really seems a bit early to discuss baby issues considering that they are just back from their honeymoon which took them to the Maldives and the Bahamas. It was not all play for 33-year old Fergie though as she participated in the MJCI Charity Celebration Galas held at the Atlantis Resort. The 36-year old Duhamel was also seen teeing for Michael Jordan’s Celebrity Invitational Tournament on the island. Work or play, the couple went home with a smile on their faces and a nice tan on their bodies.

Josh Duhamel and Fergie have officially gotten married in Malibu, California this past weekend. The nuptials and post party took place at the Church Estates Vineyards. Fergie’s wedding dress was indeed done by Dolce & Gabbana and her 10 attendants were dressed in black dresses. Someone who attended the wedding also revealed that Fergie has lost all the weight that she had put on for the movie ‘Nine’. Good for her! Mario Lopez, Kate Hudson, Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell were a few of the celebrities in attendance to witness the happy event. I haven’t said it before, so I’ll say it now. Congratulations!

Pinup legend Bettie Page died this week in LA. She was placed on life support last week after suffering a heart attack and never woke up. The iconic secretary-turned-model was 85. The AP reports:

Page, who was also known as Betty, attracted national attention with magazine photographs of her sensuous figure in bikinis and see-through lingerie that were quickly tacked up on walls in military barracks, garages and elsewhere, where they remained for years.
Her photos included a centerfold in the January 1955 issue of then-fledgling Playboy magazine, as well as controversial sadomasochistic poses.
“I think that she was a remarkable lady, an iconic figure in pop culture who influenced sexuality, taste in fashion, someone who had a tremendous impact on our society,” Playboy founder Hugh Hefner told The Associated Press on Thursday. “She was a very dear person.”

Bettie Page is a legend, and if I could travel back in time I would sure love to meet her.

The hot and sexy Megan Fox is in for a treat as she is the cover girl for both GQ and Maxim, this month.

Interestingly the “Transformers” hottie’s rep told the press that the photo on the Maxim cover is an old one.

It clearly meant that Maxim published an old photo on the cover just to jeopardize the GQ spread.

Moody Mammas maternity clothers founders Marta Abrams and Elise Rosemarin have teamed up with Christian Siriano (Fierce-ness!) to create a new maternity collection for Spring 2009.
The line will be called Fierce for Moody Mammas by Christian Siriano.
A rep from Moody Mammas said that Siriano signed up with them because he thought it would be so much fun for a gay guy to team up with two women who have never had children to create such fashionable clothes.
Judging by the clothes Siriano has produced on and off Project Runway, these clothes may be not too comfortable, BUT YOU’LL DEFINITELY LOOK GOOD.

Heidi Klum says Seal is a “wonderful daddy”. The supermodel insists her singer husband is a fantastic father to the three children they raise together.

Heidi – who has two sons, two-year-old Henry and 19-month-old Johan, with Seal, and a four-year-old daughter Leni from a previous relationship – revealed: “Seal is a wonderful daddy. He never minded changing diapers, he loves to sing lullabies and he’s always 100 per cent there. We have that in common as parents.”

- recently revealed although Formula One team boss Flavio Briatore is Leni’s biological father, Leni thinks of Seal as her dad.

One of Vanessa Paradis’s pictures for the new Miu Miu campaign has leaked. The photo was taken by fashion photo super duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. The French actress, singer and long time girlfriend of Johnny Depp, is the new face of the fashion house. Vanessa took Kirsten Dunst’s place as the face of the Italian style house. Miuccia Prada supposedly chose the French songstress because she casts a “certain powerful independence”. Vanessa looks great in the picture but I’m not totally blown over. Maybe it’s because we usually see her all glammed up anyway so it’s not that far of a stretch.

Gwyneth Paltrow believes husband Chris Martin was a gift sent from heaven by her late father.

The Oscar-winning actress met the Coldplay frontman just weeks after the devastating death of Bruce Paltrow and Gwyneth is convinced her beloved dad had something to do with it.

She said: “My father died and I met my husband three weeks later. So, in a way, it felt like my father was in heaven putting him there in my life, you know?”

Meanwhile, Gwyneth admits she broke down in tears while filming new movie ‘Iron Man’ because she was away from her two children, Apple, four, and two-year-old Moses.

She added: “Some days I’d think, ‘Oh, my God, they’re in the bath right now and I’m not there.’ I’d cry in my trailer! But I realised it’s OK for me to want to express that part of myself. It’s why I’m here. But I’ll never go back to exploiting it the way I did. Never! What I have at home is too precious.”
