The New York Post is reporting that the singer is pregnant with her first child with rapper Jay-Z. The paper reports confidently that “Pals of the tight-lipped newlyweds say the songbird is expecting the couple’s first child.” Only time will tell if it’s true but a rep for Beyonce saucily responds to the story by saying “I don’t know if she’s pregnant. Let me perform an ultrasound and get back to you.” Please do. That way, we don’t have to read about any more speculations.

Louise Redknapp is expecting a baby. The former Eternal singer - who is married to former soccer star Jamie Redknapp - is three-and-a-half months pregnant with her second child.

Louise admitted that the pregnancy was a “shock” after it took years for her to conceive her first child, Charley, who is now three. She suffers from severe endometriosis, which can affect the chances of conceiving, so was stunned she fell pregnant after just four weeks of trying.

She said: “It took me four years to have Charley and so this time, after just a month, it was very unexpected. We had talked about having another baby and we kind of expected the same problems as last time. When I did the pregnancy test, I nearly fell off the chair. My friend popped in and I dragged her upstairs and said, ‘You’ve got to look at this. Am I reading it wrong?’”

Louise - who currently models for lingerie company Triumph - added: “I’m really happy, but there will be no modelling for a while.”

Louise - who is due in November - says she and Jamie want to find out the sex of their child before she gives birth.

The father of Minnie Driver’s unborn baby has been named in an American magazine.

He is San Francisco musician Craig Zolezzi, who she had reportedly been dating for a year.

The Riches star confirmed her pregnancy during a March 13 appearance on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno but would not reveal the name of the father.

A source told Life & Style magazine that Driver has been dating Zolezzi “under the radar” for “more than a year.”

The insider told the publication, “She and Craig are preparing for a girl. She wasn’t planning to find out the baby’s sex in advance, but she has a feeling it’s a girl, so she’s going with that feeling for now.”

The 38-year-old actress is due to give birth in August.

Kerry Katona has gone into labour - five weeks early.

The star, 27, was rushed to hospital yesterday after her waters broke while filming the final scenes of her reality TV show, Kerry Katona: Crazy In Love.

Kerry, who was due to give birth on May 19, is said to be “doing fine”.

Forget a beach vacation, just hand her a baby!

Marcia Cross really, really wanted to have a baby, so she skipped out on the honeymoon and instead hit up the fertility doctor. She said, “We decided to skip our honeymoon and try in vitro after the wedding.”

She says now, “I had already been through infertility treatments. It’s very, very difficult to get pregnant in your 40s. It’s costly and tough on your body and your relationship.”

It worked for her, though. Just seven months after her wedding, Marcia gave birth early to twins Eden and Savannah. They just recently celebrated their first birthday.

Earlier it was reported that Britney Spears was seen purchasing a pregnancy test at a Rite Aid drug store. She was accompanied by her boyfriend Adnan Ghalib. Rumors flew about her possible third pregnancy in as many years.

She has issued a statement now saying that she is not pregnant. She says she was buying the test for a friend and has no need for one.

All we can do is expel a collective sigh of relief that the singer has not spawned again because a baby is the last thing she needs right now.

Poor Lily Allen has lost her baby. The 22-year-old singer was excited at the idea of becoming a Mum; rearranging work and attempting to give up smoking so that she could concentrate on becoming the perfect Mum. Our hearts go out to her and boyfriend Ed Simons at this tragic time.

A source said: “Lily and Ed are in a state of shock. The bad news has been really difficult for them to take and they are absolutely heartbroken. Lily’s entire outlook on life changed after she found out she was pregnant. She was looking forward to being a mum and starting a family with Ed. She had turned her back on her party girl image and had turned over a new leaf. Friends and family surround them and are offering support. It is a really difficult time for them.”

Lily had just returned from a romantic holiday in the Maldives with Ed when the tragedy hit. Her spokesman said: “We can confirm that Lily Allen has suffered a miscarriage. She and her partner Ed Simons will be making no further comment and we ask that their privacy be respected during this difficult time.”

Time is coming to an end for Nicole Richie and Joel Madden. Their first child is due to be born sometime next week.

After much speculation, it has finally been announced that Nicole Kidman is expecting a baby with husband Keith Urban. The two told photographers that they were “very excited”.

Seems Nicole is all the way into her second trimester with the baby’s due date being in July. She isn’t telling the baby’s sex, though. She wants to keep that personal information to herself.

After a miscarriage with ex-husband Tom Cruise, this is great news for Nicole! The happy mom has already dropped from her latest film project because of the pregnancy.

Babie babies everywhere. Well, not quite, but you have to admit that there seems to be an awful amount of celebrity pregnancies at the moment. Lots of Spring children for 2008. I know that when you are pregnant you usually see pregnancy everywhere; but this is ridiculous!

Anyway, enough speculation. The next candidate for celebrity pregnancy seems to be Hollywood star Nicole Kidman. Though nothing is confirmed, the Golden Compass beauty was snapped sporting what looked like a small bump as she strolled happily along in Sydney with husband Keith Urban.

The 40-year old has two adopted children with ex-husband Tom Cruise, but sadly has experienced both an ectopic pregnancy and a miscarriage in the past. Enough heartache for anyone to handle. So Nicole if it’s true we congratulate you and wish you all the luck in the world.

Ok, I don’t know about anyone else, but when I picture a woman in labour I see lots of shouting and yelling; often lots of cursing of the man involved along the lines of “don’t think you are ever coming near me again you ******”…or something like that.

So it just seems unnatural, and almost impossible, to give birth in absolute silence. Especially with no painkillers or medical interference. However, apparently Katie Holmes did it, thanks to husband Tom Cruise’s belief in Scientology; and now J-Lo wishes to follow in her footsteps.

The belief behind it is those noisy hospital environments, screaming, and doctors yelling “push” can have a poor effect on the child later in life.

Oh to be a fly on the wall; I have to salute the woman that succeeds childbirth in utter silence with no pain relief. Men you don’t know how easy you have it.

Lily Allen is pregnant and she has her own clothing line. What’s a girl to do? Of course she has to make a maternity collection! That’s not what she thinks though. But she does have a point.

Lily said “I’ve had a lot of offers from people to do my own maternity range but I don’t think it is the right message to send to young Britain. I’m not the best example. I’m pregnant and a bit young, aren’t I? My demographic is generally young girls, so I don’t think a maternity line is suitable. It isn’t the best impression to give them.”

Christina Aguilera has a lot to celebrate about. On Tuesday, the singer celebrated her birthday with her husband Jordan Bratman in West Hollywood. They were spotted just as they were leaving Houston’s restaurant where they celebrated with friends.Come January 10, 2008, the 27-year old Christina will have more to celebrate when she gives birth via C-section. She’s reportedly narrowed down the names for her baby boy to Jackson, Jake or Max. She’s also requested an enlarged version of her November cover of Marie Claire which has her nude and showing off her baby bump. That’s a very high-end memento.

Hurray some more happy news! Not a wedding; even better. We can expect the arrival of another celebrity rugrat – this time courtesy of Lily Allen and boyfriend Ed Simons.

Why, not enough gifts from the first one?
