Can a 62 year old Cher be able to do justice with her tough job to save the world from the hands of the deadly villains?
“Wanted” and “Tomb Raider” star Angelina Jolie was the most likely candidate for the role but the latest development has indicated that the director Christopher Nolan is also considering Cher for the role of Cat-woman in “Batman 3”.It is reported that Cher is in negotiations for the role.

According to British’s Telegraph a studio executive has also claimed, “Cher is Nolan’s first choice to play Cat-woman. He wants her to portray her like a vamp in her twilight years. The new Cat-woman will be the absolute opposite of Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry’s purring creations.”

It is also expected that the “Batman 3”, whose filming is scheduled to start in early 2009, may also cast Johnny Depp as “The Riddler”.

Celebrities are just selling their homes all over the place even though it looks like it’s not the time to sell as markets are down. But maybe that’s why their selling. Cher is the latest star to put her home up for sale. The singer auctioned off most of the contents of her Malibu mansion around two years ago and now she’s ready to sell teh property. Cher is selling her Italian Renaissance-style villa which was built back in 1992 for $45 million. The 14,000-square foot villa sits on 1.7 acres of land and overlooks the Pacific Ocean. It’s a 3-storey villa featuring 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. There’s a pool, tennis court, guest house, gym, theater and multiple verandas. Now you know why it’s priced that way.

Cher goes out to prove that age is really nothing but a number as she’s pulled a Mariah Carey. According to the National Enquirer, the 62-year old diva has gone and gotten married to a much younger man. The singer supposedly got married to a non-famous guy of 36 years old. You do the math. The paper says that the wedding took place in Las Vegas and that there was a pre-nup. But before you go all freaky fan-like, don’t make out some congratulations cards yet. While the cover of the paper says that she’s already gotten married, the article says that Cher is still in the planning stages of marrying the guy.

Now that Cher is getting ready for a comeback, we need to prepare for her commenting on other worldly stuff as well. She recently spoke to TV’s Extra about her thoughts on the presidential candidates and pretty much said who she’s rooting for.

She said “I like Hillary. I think she’d make the best president. I think [Barack]’s a good man. I think he’s altruistic. I think he’s smart. I think at some point he can be a great leader. I just don’t think it’s now.” What do you think? Is Cher a good judge of character or just being a feminist?
