Three days after the death of his son Michael Jackson, 80-year old Joe Jackson hit the red carpet at the 2009 BET Awards which was held at the Shrine Auditorium this past Sunday in Los Angeles. During his interview with CNN, Joe took the opportunity to promote his new business venture, a record label. Here is the statement one of the family’s publicists read during the interview: “Our beloved son Michael Jackson loved you all. Michael’s children are our first priority. We will have further announcements to discuss our plans going forward. Until such time, however, we have the personal and legal authority to act, and solely Katherine and I have authority for our son and his children. We wish to handle his memory and legacy with dignity. The attorney for the Jacksons is L. Londell McMillan and no one has the authority to speak on behalf of the Jackson family at this time.”

Amy Winehouse is in the middle of an international clash of the titans! Big media players in both the US and the UK are reportedly desperate to get an exclusive, no-holds-barred interview with the troubled singer. This means that Wino stands to get a lot of money off of her many woes in life.

In the US, CNN’s Larry King and talk show queen Oprah both have pressed Wino’s people for the sit down. In the UK, top anchorman Sir Trevor McDonald is pining for Wino. Sir Trevor has admitted that the US has a money advantage but he is still confident that he can win Wino over.

Rosie O’Donnell is planning to broadcast a new show on her website, just days after scrapping her TV comeback. The star had started negotiations to front a new talk show on cable network MSNBC that would compete directly with CNN icon Larry King’s nightly broadcast. But O’Donnell revealed the deal is off earlier this week. She is just a big mouthed bully. She has nothing nice to say about anyone anymore. She has become so mean, who in their right mind wants to listen to her? She has shown she really isn’t too bright; her arguments really make no sense. I think that picture of her poor kid dressed up with a gun says it all. She can protest anything she wants, but then turn around and say, oh well its ok for my kid to play with it for now. She just sucks.
