Former Will And Grace star Eric McCormack is to star in a new film about the con artist known as Clark Rockefeller.

Eric, who played Will in the long-running US sitcom, has signed up for two new TV projects with one about Rockefeller and another where he will star in a single-camera comedy that is said to be heading to networks soon.

The film about Rockefeller sees McCormack play German con artist Christian Karl Gerhartsreiter come to the US as a foreign exchange student and impersonate a number of people.

He soon becomes a fixture in high society and claims to be Clark Rockefeller – an heir to a famous dynasty.

Shooting for the film about Rockefeller is said to be scheduled to start in October for a March 2010 release.

The 45-year-old former Friends star is re-launching her TV career with the sitcom – which she also co-produces with her real-life husband David Arquette – about a divorcée in her 40s on the hunt for younger men.

The show is due to premiere on the ABC network, on 23 September.

Arquette and Cox are set to team up in the film Scream 4 – the next instalment of the horror series on which they first met and fell in love.

The 29-year-old Kate Hudson recently shared her disastrous dating experiences while talking to the press for her newest comedy “My Best Friend’s Girl”.

Telling the account of her worst date, she said, “One date, I just left before we even ordered food because the guy was just so deeply boring that it was like, ‘I’m going to just save us from all of this and just leave’.”

The “How to Loose a Guy in 10 Days” actress expressed her idea of a fun date as, “I like to be surprised [with] something fun or something different, like racing cars … or miniature golf or something.” She further added afterwards, “If you’re going to go on a date, do it right, you know?”

She might be able to spend a fun date with Tarzan, Rambo or probably a gorilla!
