When rumours of a separation emerged last month, Rosie angrily insisted they “remain a family” and “love each other very much” – and insisted: “Those are the only words I am ever going to say.”

But now, seemingly in an unplanned aside, Rosie admits that her long-term partner actually moved out two years ago.

Talking to a psychic on her US radio show about her dog, Rosie said she got the dog three days after Carpenter left.

“What happened [was] when Kelli moved out two years ago, I got the dog. Because I wanted another child or something to love. And I got the dog,” she said.

O’Donnell and Carpenter were married in a non-state-recognised ceremony in San Francisco in 2004 and have three adopted children – Parker, 14, Chelsea, 12 and Blake, 9 – as well as daughter Vivienne, 6, whom Carpenter gave birth to via artificial insemination.

Tennis legend Chris Evert’s ex-husband has said that her split from golfing ace Greg Norman was inevitable – and likened the pair to “alpha dogs going at it”.

Evert’s ex, Olympic skiing champion Andy Mill, has hit out at the “trail of destruction” that the two sporting greats reportedly left behind, when they ditched their respective spouses and became lovers.

Mill said he was devastated when former Wimbledon favourite Evert – the mother of his three children – broke off their 18-year marriage and left him for his then best friend Norman.

“I cried routinely for close to three years,” said the 55-year-old, who blames Norman for his heartbreak.

Florida-based Norman and Evert, who got together in 2006, last week announced they had separated. A statement released on Friday said they “will remain friends and supportive of one another’s family”.

The shock split comes just 15 months after they tied the knot in a romantic sunset ceremony on Paradise Island, in the Bahamas.

Mill said he is not surprised his ex-wife’s marriage has crumbled. “Nothing surprises me with those two. Look at the trail of destruction they left behind them for this fling.”

Comparing Evert and Norman to “two alpha dogs going at it”, Mill said divorce was inevitable for the pair.

Meanwhile, Evert has laughed off concerns over her well-being, emphatically insisting that she is “fine”.

The couple, who star with their eight children in the reality TV series Jon & Kate Plus 8, were expected to make an announcement of their divorce during a special edition of the program scheduled for Monday night.

But court papers were reported filed in Pennsylvania during the day. The preliminary documents were filed in Bucks County Courthouse in Doylestown on Monday afternoon. The couple had been married 10 years but recent charges of infidelity on both sides plagued their marriage in the public forum.

Their own relatives went on record saying the pair were at war and that production crews on the show had spoken out about the way their children were being treated on set. Kate Gosselin was seen taking time away with her children in North Carolina without Jon present, while Jon was seen spending a lonely Father’s Day with his kids and a trickle of fans at the couple’s Pennsylvania house – the day before the papers were filed.

Kate recently hit out at tabloids for their coverage of the marriage. In a statement to celeb weekly Life & Style she said: “Whether the paparazzi are there or not, I am a mother first. I love my children and when they misbehave, I discipline them as I deem appropriate for the situation.”

She added: “She was p***ed and I was p***ed… We put our make-up and lipstick on. Then we came out and started dancing together. It was all completely innocent. We were just having a laugh.”

She added: “The next thing I know is that Pete is convinced I made a pass at Katie in the bathroom. Nothing could be further from the truth. I’m not nearly as bad as people think I am.”

Katie, 30, and Peter, 36, recently announced they are splitting after three-and-a-half years of marriage.

Andrew Gould, 28, who is married, said: “We’ve never had a relationship. I’m not interested in her at all that way. There’s no reason for Pete to be jealous.”

The 30-year-old glamour model was seen at a Bristol club with her horseriding pals, and it was reported that Andre, 36, decided to split from the star after claiming he couldn’t trust her when she’s drunk.

Gould said he previously denied being at the club that night because Price didn’t want Andre to find out as she knew he would be jealous.

Gould told British newspaper The Sun: “I did say I wasn’t the guy in the club. I didn’t mind it coming out, but Kate didn’t want Pete to know I was there because of how he reacts. The thing is, it is so innocent and it is so ridiculous. I don’t know why he has that problem. But I have to respect Kate’s choice and if she would rather say to him that I wasn’t there that’s fine for me.”

The couple whose wedding was officiated by actress Sharon Stone five years ago has filed for divorce, after just five years of marriage.

Stone, 51, became a mail-order minister almost five years ago and officiated the wedding of restaurateur Michael Bourseau and stylist Brenda Swanson in 2004.

The couple also had Hollywood actors Jack Nicholson and Robert Wagner as witnesses at the ceremony.

It is claimed they are citing “irreconcilable differences”, according to TMZ.com. There are no children involved.

At the time, Borseau reportedly told PageSix.com about Stone officiating: “No one’s going to believe it when I hang my wedding certificate up on the wall.”

On the latest cover of Star, the magazine claims that the couple’s fights are getting physical – screaming, pushing, shoving and throwing things. Readers of the magazine Parade have voted David Duchovny’s sex addiction scandal as the year’s most surprising celebrity scandal. David himself admitted that he was addicted to sex so much that a 2 two rehab stint was required to treat him for the addiction.

In 1997the actor completely washed is hands when asked about his sexual appetite, he said “I’m not a sex addict”. Then when the story of his sex addiction broke out the actor made a statement where in he asked for “respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family.”

David Duchovny is reportedly dropping the lawsuit he filed last month against the people from the UK’s Daily Mail.
We can all remember how pissed David was when he found out that the paper reported that he cheated on wife Tea Leoni with a tennis instructor named Edit Pakay.
The ‘former’ sex addict alleged defamation, invasion of privacy. David wanted $1 million in damages from the Mail.
Well, according to reports he has dropped “with prejudice,” meaning it cannot be brought back again.
When asked for a comment, David’s lawyer was not available for comment on why his client was no longer pursuing the case.

A source close to the family quoted, “Guy knew what he wanted and Madonna knew what she was keen to keep. There was a spell when Guy was in a mood to dig his heels in, but he decided this arrangement seemed reasonable and a long battle over money would make life unbearable.”
