Amy Winehouse is in the clear after being arrested last week in relation to the crack smoking video of hers earlier this year. The police have decided not to pursue any further action against the ‘Rehab’ singer. Wino’s spokesperson released a statement on Wednesday morning saying “Police have confirmed that no action will be taken against Amy Winehouse in relation to an investigation into a video handed to them in January. She was questioned by police last week and released on unconditional bail. They have now concluded their enquiries and no charges will be brought. Amy’s bail date to return to Limehouse police station has been cancelled, bringing this matter to an end. Amy is pleased to be able to move on and concentrate on music and particularly looks forward to seeing her fans again at eagerly awaited festival performances this summer.”

Pete Doherty has admitted he cheated drug tests while in prison.

Well we all knew that.

The Babyshambles frontman, who recently left London’s Wormwood Scrubs Prison, claims he only got his drug-free certificate because he used another inmate’s urine. He said in an interview: ‘I was banging it. The only time I tested clean was when I used someone else’s p**s.’

Pete also revealed how terrified he was during his incarceration at the tough jail after one prisoner threatened to stab him. He said: ‘It was quite hard work. Constant shouting, ‘Pete, is Kate Moss a good s**g? Give us a song.’ I woke up to hear, ‘You wait, I’m going to see you outside and stab you up.’ ‘

Despite his drug boasts, the 29-year-old rocker realised his substance abuse had spiralled out of control when he attacked one of his beloved cats. He added: ‘I got a shovel and was going to kill one of the cats. It was a bit of a crazy time.’

The hell-raising musician has also confirmed he will be working on a follow-up to Babyshambles’ ‘Shotters Nation’ album. Pete added: ‘That will keep me busy and, hopefully, out of trouble.’

While most people are thinking that Paula Abdul was drunk on the Tuesday night performance show of American Idol, Paula and her publicist Jeff Ballard are saying otherwise. In a statement sent out on Wednesday, Paula’s publicist said that she was not drunk and that she never had a martini during her lunch but instead had a sparkling water with lime. Apparently, the petite Idol judge doesn’t even drink at all. Her publicist goes on to say that it wasn’t an assistant who was with her but rather the head of Talent for FOX. Well, if she wasn’t drunk but was acting that way, surely she must have been on something.

Richie Sambora was arrested for DUI on Tuesday but he could be facing criminal charges of child endangerment as his 10-year old daughter Ava, along with another juvenile and another adult, was in the car during his arrest. Sources say that after Richie was busted, the cops called Heather Locklear, Ava’s mom, and she authorized the other adult in the car to drive her daughter home. If the Bon Jovi guitarist was indeed driving drunk, he could be charged with endangering the 2 kids. He hasn’t been charged as of yet but the Laguna Beach PD is actively investigating the situation.

Jason Rae, saxophone player and husband of British soul singer Corinne Bailey Rae, was found dead in a Leeds, England, apartment.

Police were called to the home on Saturday afternoon. When they arrived, 31 year old Jason was dead.

A 32 year old man was arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled substances. Rae died from a suspected overdose, but police are still waiting on results of toxicology reports.

It’s been kinda nice to see him out of the picture. No nasty stories about him; no seeing him tag along with Britney. But, he’s back.

Well, not really. So his name is out there today - cops for the LAPD say they are not out to arrest Sam Lufti. Despite rumors that they want him on charges of allegedly drugging Britney, they say that’s not true. They say there is no investigation of that sort.

Sam’s spokesperson Michael Sands says, “Internet tabloid gossip Web sites need to stop reporting bogus stories without knowing the truth. They need to stop brainwashing the public.”

Eleven days may not have been enough time for Amy Winehouse to spend in rehab. It hasn’t even been a month since she got out, but she was partying with friends over the weekend.

Friday night, she finally left her hole at a London hotel and hit a place in Shoreditch, where she hit the beers. She even had one for the ride home at 2:30 a.m.

Saturday was a girls’ night out with friends for some bowling. They even painted their nails red on the way! What an awesome evening!

Amy Winehouse’s dream of singing at The Grammys this weekend could now be wrecked, after police quizzed her yesterday about smoking crack cocaine.

The Back to Black star, 24, needs a US visa to go to Sunday’s glittering ceremony in Los Angeles, where she is nominated for six gongs. Her chances of being allowed into America were already in doubt after being fined for cannabis possession last October.

Amy is now battling her drug habit in a clinic. A worried pal said: “The timing of this isn’t great. She is desperate to go to The Grammys and needs to show US officials she is taking her rehabilitation seriously.”

Things are not looking good…but I guess that’s what they call consequences.

After really showing herself at the Directors Guild of America awards, Sean Young has entered rehab. She made obscure comments all night and then was eventually escorted out after making comments to Julian Schnabel. He was slow to start his acceptance speech, and Sean loudly proclaimed that he should get on with it.

Her rep announced today that she has long struggled with alcoholism. Sean has voluntarily entered a program to deal with that illness.

You have to give the poor, washed up actress credit for making an effort to get better.

Everyone is pretty much sure that Britney Spears is suffering from some sort of bipolar disorder. For months, maybe since the whole custody battle began, Commissioner Scott Gordon has repeatedly ordered the pop wreck to undergo psychological tests but she has not complied. But it now seems that a medical intervention is about to go down.

Brit’s divorce lawyers have reportedly devised a plan to get the fallen pop star into treatment. People are saying that it’s outpatient treatment that would allow professionals to “evaluate and treat” her condition. They’re also saying that Britney is “receptive” to the idea but that it’s not a done deal.

Just hours after footage was released of her allegedly smoking crack cocaine, singer Amy Winehouse was taken to rehab. The troubled youngster was seen entering London’s Capio Nightingale hospital by concerned dad, Mitch. As she entered the top clinic, which has reportedly treated troubled rocker Pete Doherty, she clutched a note from jailed husband Blake Fielder-Civil, which read: “We’ll get through this because I f***ing believe in us.”

After assessments by specialists, Mitch took Amy home from the clinic but she must return for regular appointments. Her spokesman said: “She is in good spirits.”

Amy was dealt another blow yesterday after Blake’s mother insisted they should get divorce because of the singer’s bad influence on her son. Georgette Fielder-Civil said: “I know Amy is hooked on drugs. That’s her problem. Her pals are a bad influence on her and she’s a bad influence on her husband. I hope they go their own separate ways for their own good. I believe divorce is the only answer.”

The question is will Blake succumb to his mother’s wishes? They seem pretty devoted to me…but you never know with this pair.

Amy Winehouse may have just opened up a new can of worms. She’s now just as bad as Pete Doherty and she needs to put an end to her self-destructive behavior if she doesn’t want to end up dead or in jail.

UK’s The Sun has just published shocking picture’s of Wino smoking crack at a party in London this past weekend. Just like Kate Moss, the signer was secretly videotaped at a drug-fueled bash at her house last Friday night. In addition to inhaling some crack from her glass pipe, Wino also snorted powdered ecstasy and cocaine and even admitted to popping six Valium pills to “bring myself down” as the paper is reporting.

Another custody hearing has been scheduled on Monday and it is being said that it could be one of the most important days in the life of Britney Spears. Although she is not legally required to show up in court, the pop wreck needs to show her face to the judge and explain herself is she’s got any hope of getting her kids back. People are saying that if she doesn’t show or if she is uncooperative, it could be the end for her custody case.

Furthermore, police sources say that Commissioner Scott Gordon will hear firsthand eyewitness accounts of last Thursday’s breakdown from LAPD, fire fighters and paramedics who were on the scene. And we all know that’s not going to be a pretty picture.

When you look at Amy Winehouse the last thing you think of is fashion. With a string of troubles including drugs, bulimia and a jailed hubby you are more likely to think of a walking disaster area.

Unless of course your name is Karl Lagerfield. The top designer thinks that the singer is his new muse; even going as far as to compare her with sixties French actress Bridget Bardot.

To prove it the new line (ahem) by the designer is totally dedicated to the beehive queen.

Britney Spears has been banned from driving with her young sons in the same car after her ex-husband Kevin Federline’s attorney called an emergency court hearing to question her road skills. Kevin’s lawyer is not a “gangster lawyer”. The whole issue is the safety of the kids. Britney doesn’t seem to care about any of it. she blatantly disregards what she is being asked to do in order to even get back 50/50 custody.She is really messed up and I am beginning to believe the theory that she really does not want the kids. Hell…she just bought a new car that seats 2!I really wish the court would mandate her getting treated at a mental health facility outside of California. Maybe it will also mean that she’ll even stay home now those two days and one overnight she has the kids. Knowing her she’ll just leave them home with a nanny and the monitor and keep going out for her starbuck, gas station, taco bell, target, run etc. But I hope not.

In the last few weeks, Marie Osmond passed out on live television during Dancing with the Stars and mourned the death of her father. Now she is facing her most difficult crisis yet. The singer confirmed Wednesday that her 16-year-old son, Michael, entered rehab last week for undisclosed treatment. Until you folks live her life and know the intimate details of her homelife, it’s really unfair to make such judgmental statements. Whether you like her dancing or not is irrelevant. Whether you like MARIE or not is irrelevant. For heaven’s sake, have a little compassion for a mother and a young man who is troubled! The reasons aren’t for any of us to say and are no one else’s business but Marie, Brian, and their son. Those who judge may find themselves in similar–or worse–circumstances at some point down the line.

I feel this girl has great need to have a mentor right now. Obviously she has lost faith in herself. She wants to be validated as okay, because her ex was someone that she thought would be part of her life forever. Now that they are divorced, she feels like a failure and feels “why try to be a better person, I am a failure, so why even try”?
I wish I could just take this girl and bring her into my home secretly so the public wouldn’t hound her. She may be a big star always in the publics’ eye; however that doesn’t mean it is truely what she’s happy with. Right now she’s in a bad place emotionally and has lost all faith in herself that she is worth having anything good. She loves her boys but has lost the way to prove it to the world that she does. She needs help. I am in school now and we study different psychological disorders and she needs one-on-one help with someone who will not judge her, nor be overwhelmed by her star image. She is a person first, a mother second and star last.

Celine Dion has vowed never to drink alcohol because she is terrified she could fall victim to an addiction. The singer - who has credited her marriage to her manager Rene Angelil, 65, for keeping her away from the party scene - says cases of alcoholism in her family have put her off booze. Yeah only stupid people with more shit than brain cells in their head do not learn from other’s mistakes and then when they make mistakes themselves they then too fail to learn and more often than not plunge themselves in the sea of alcohol. Look at my friends for instance, one of them has been hospitalized on 2 occasions for excessive drinking and we had to call his parents at one point but yet he say he cannot start a meal before he has gulped down some trash beer. I know beer is not harmful but then slowly it becomes an addiction that stays on for ever. It’s been seven years since I quit alcohol and today I never ever feel like tasting it again.

I know all of you are already tired of hearing/reading about Britney Spears but this one is juicy one. There you have it, HSM star Vanessa had her sex tape released as she thought that she was not being credited with the success of the movie and the release of the sex tape on the internet has done the trick for her and she is considering other proposals as well. Now well naturally Britney’s life and career is down the drain so why not put out a sex tape. I guess it could not really hurt her career. However it would hurt her chances of getting her kids back. Then again perhaps she does not want them back. I still think she was using them to just get more publicity for herself. But I don’t understand how anyone can say anything negative about Britney spears for this … it clearly says he did it without her knowledge… Which he obviously just did because she’s Britney spears and saw a chance for money…

Everyone but his ex-wife that is. He may come across as Mr. Nice Guy but his ex-wife is telling a different story for the world to know.

Tony Bennett’s former wife, Sandra Grant Bennett who is also the mother of two of his kids, is currently at work on a tell-all book about the legendary singer. Sandra was quoted in saying “The Tony I knew is not the same smiley Mr. Nice Guy the world knows.”

Among her revelations on the darker side of Tony are drug use, a nearly fatal cocaine overdose and his financial troubles. Let’s just hope that he’s stopped with all the white stuff because of the age he’s at.

Autumn doesn’t officially begin until Sunday, but Britney Spears’ fall has already begun. Ok sorry to all those who couldn’t understand what I meant. Britney Spears is having probably the worst time of her life right now and she perhaps does not want to get up the next morning knowing it could bring more bad news for her. These problems might now start weighing on her and take a toll on her mentally and maybe push her to take the shelter of drugs and alcohol to get over her grief. She might as well just go ahead and do the hustler photo spread and get it over with, because if she intends to live the life path she is on she might as well start to learn how to suck and swallow. She is bound to end up in ***** to make house payments or child support payments anyways. What a waste. May be she felt lonely without her pal Lindsay so she made plans to accompany her in the same cell.

David Hasselhoff accepted “substantial” libel damages from celebrity magazine OK! on Friday over reports he was drunk and abusive at a Los Angeles nightclub after winning a custody battle for his daughters.

The award of damages at London’s High Court was against OK! publisher Northern & Shell Plc and Northern & Shell North America Ltd, which publishes OK! Weekly magazine.

The court heard that in July, OK! ran an item which alleged he had been “off his face” and “abusive” at the night club.

On the previous day OK! Weekly published a story headed “Hasselhoff Celebrates Custody Win” which alleged he “drank champagne like it was water” from midnight until 2.00 a.m.

“The truth is that the allegations are entirely false,” said Hasselhoff’s lawyer Simon Smith.

Both publications have agreed to print an apology, pay “substantial damages” and reimburse the 55-year-old former Baywatch star’s legal costs.

In a statement issued outside the court afterwards, Hasselhoff said: “While this should not have happened in the first place I am very pleased with the outcome of this case.

“In the past whenever false reports about me have surfaced I have done my best to ignore them. However, due to the completely false allegations published by OK! magazine and others I was encouraged this time by my children to take a stand.”

Hasselhoff is now a judge on the television contest show “America’s Got Talent.” He divorced his wife, Pamela Bach, 43, in August 2006. They have battled for custody of daughters Taylor Ann, 17, and Hayley, 14.

“I’ve been banned from America. That’s nice. Oh well, that means I can’t go back there. Good.” Lily Allen doesn’t seem to be bothered by the cancellation of her upcoming US tour, withdrawal from the VMAs and visa issues. Do note the sarcasm.

She said that as she performed at the V Festival in the UK this past weekend but she blogged about it last Monday to clear it up.

In her blog, she mentioned that she said the aforementioned quote not because of her current issues but because that’s what she’s been saying the whole entire time. She’s been ragging on President Bush even before the issues came about.

She also said that we should just take it for what it’s worth.

She is a classic addict: “She buys puppies, because they fulfill some desperate need inside her, but the thrill is short-lived, so she goes back and gets another one. She goes out drinking and clubbing because it anesthetizes her and dulls the pain.” She may or may not be mentally ill, but she is definitely textbook addict. AJ McLean (a recovering drug/alcohol abuser) has spoken about it, too. She’s a bloody mess and needs help. But she won’t get it til she bottoms out. As a goss blogger, I love the fodder she gives me. But I hate watching her self-destruct. I truly would be happy never to have another Britney story, if it meant she got cleaned up and sober, and became a good mother. Frankly there is a limit to how much fun we can poke at a person and feel nice about it, after a while there is a sense of self realization that it’s not making much fun anymore and we need to forget about Britney from now onwards.

The former bodyguard for actress Lindsay Lohan is speaking out about her parents. He feels they are responsible for her recent descent into drug and alcohol related problems. Tont Almeida worked for Lohan for three years. He claims that Lindsay’s parents never gave her any kind of structure and encouraged her to keep working so they could uphold their lavish lifestyle. Almeida even claims he once had to pull Lindsay’s own father off of her after he shoved her against a car and called her a slut. He blames Lohan’s mother Dinah for allowing Lindsay to do whatever she wanted as long as she kept paying their bills. He even states that Lindsay had begged for time off and was doing cocaine by the age of 18. This story was told to In Touch magazine and I’m sure the basis behind his doing so was to get paid for it. However, that doesn’t make it a lie. I don’t doubt that any of this is the truth. It’s sad that Lindsay’s parents are like selfish little kids. It’s no wonder she has no one to learn from and even sadder that more people continue to gain from her messed up life.

Lane Garrison, who pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter and drunken driving in a crash that killed a teenage passenger, was ordered Thursday to undergo a 90-day evaluation to help a judge decide his sentence.

The former “Prison Break” actor will undergo a “diagnostic” by parole officers and psychologists in a prison before returning for an Oct. 31 appearance before Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox.

Garrison, 27, was driving a 2001 Land Rover on Dec. 2 when he lost control and rammed a tree. The crash killed Vahagn Setian, a Beverly Hills High School student who would have been 18 on Wednesday. Two other passengers, both 15-year-old girls, survived. They testified at the sentencing.

Garrison had a blood-alcohol content of 0.20 percent, more than twice the legal limit for driving, and was under the influence of cocaine, according to police.

Dozens of the victim’s friends and relatives were in court, many wearing T-shirts with Setian’s picture on the front and the James Dean saying, “Dream as if you’ll live forever, live as if you’ll die today” on the back.

About 20 people attended in support of Garrison.

The actor pleaded guilty in May to one count of vehicular manslaughter without gross negligence, one count of driving under the influence with a blood-alcohol level of 0.15 percent or higher, and a misdemeanor of providing alcohol to a minor.

Garrison faces a maximum sentence of six years, eight months in prison. The Los Angeles County district attorney’s office has asked for four years and eight months.

He cried during the hearing and apologized to Setian’s family.

“I relive that night every day, and I think about the bad decision I made that day. All I can say to you is, I’m so sorry,” he said.

Garrison had been free on $100,000 bail but was held in custody after Thursday’s hearing.

His character on Fox’s “Prison Break” was killed in the show’s Oct. 2 episode. The Dallas native’s other credits include the film “Crazy.”

He was recently featured in a public service announcement that encourages viewers not to drink and drive. The PSA re-enacts his crash and he appears to be holding back tears as he talks about what a stupid and costly mistake he made.

Setian’s father, Karen Setian, told the judge he believed the PSA was Garrison’s attempt to appear sympathetic before sentencing.

“He is an actor, and he is acting. Let’s not fall for his act,” he said.

He said his son was killed “not by an accident but by the reckless action” of Garrison.

“In mere seconds, our hearts and our souls were ripped apart,” he said.

Rumer Willis, Demi Moore’s 18 year old daughter was in a hotel room with a man that was arrested on drug charges. Reports say that Rumer was not also arrested. This was at the La Quinta hotel in Aberdeen where she was shooting an independent film. According to Access Hollywood police were called in after noise complaints and arrested a man for marijuana possession. Reps for both Demi Moore and Bruce Willis have refused to comment. I guess they are too busy trying to keep the press from realizing they have a future Lohan/Hilton on their hands. I’d like to say I’m surprised but really, is anyone? A young, rich kid with no real sense of responsibility is going to do this stuff. It’s just going to continue to get worse from here, especially if she is in hotel rooms with grown men and no chaperone of any kind. It’s not that she is a child but 18 in Hollywood hardly constitute as smart enough to be mature. Take a look around and tell me I’m wrong.

Authorities have released an audio copy of the 911 call made by the mother of Lindsay Lohan’s former personal assistant in the minutes before Lohan’s arrest.

The woman pleaded frantically for help early Tuesday because a mysterious car was following her, according to the audio copy, released Thursday. The 911 call lasted nearly three minutes.

Lohan, 21, was arrested for investigation of misdemeanor driving under the influence and with a suspended license, and felony cocaine possession.

Her personal assistant had quit hours before the event, police said.

The woman contacted a Santa Monica police dispatcher shortly after 1:30 a.m. Tuesday while driving on Wilshire Boulevard. She apparently didn’t realize the actress was in the white GMC following her.

“We were just about to park our car. We are turning home and out of nowhere a huge white GMC came up,” the woman said to the dispatcher.

“We’re being followed by a GMC … the gentleman jumped out of the car,” she said a few seconds later. “Oh my God, sir, they’re following us. We need help.”

The dispatcher repeatedly asked the woman for her location. The woman eventually said she was heading for the police station.

Police said the woman, accompanied by a passenger, drove her black Cadillac Escalade into the parking lot of Santa Monica’s Civic Auditorium, about a block away from the police department, followed by Lohan driving a Yukon sport utility vehicle.

During the call, the woman could be heard saying, “Oh my God, what is he doing?” Near the end, hysterical but muffled yelling and screaming is heard.

A few moments later, the woman could be heard in the background, apparently pointing out people to the officers.

“That’s him, that’s him right there,” she said. “And him, stop them.”

Authorities saw Lohan and the woman in what police have called a “heated debate.” They also said two men were with the actress in the car.

Lindsay Lohan has been “doing great” since she checked into rehab over Memorial Day weekend, her mother says. “I talk to her every day,” Dina Lohan told. “She’s going to do Promises’ extended care program.” The program, according to Promises’ Web site, is designed to help people “make the transition from residential alcohol or drug rehab treatment back into their community.” It includes a 12-step program and group therapy. What a farce this thing is, she, Lindsay Lohan is just as good as the other girls like Paris Hilton and Britney Spears and obviously that’s no good at all. For these girls rehab is a high society statement and nothing else. They check in when the troubles that they have created start worrying them and the have to find an escape. She be out in a few days time and then shall have a new thing to flaunt about and there shall be people reading that stuff as well.

The hotel heiress spoke to her worried mother and father, Kathy and Rick, through a glass shield at Los Angeles’ Twin Towers Correctional Facility.
She told them she was suffering from the cold and lack of sleep, but assured them she had got her appetite back and had eaten cereal that morning.
Emerging from their 30-minute visit, Kathy said: “It’s tough in there. It’s cold and she hasn’t had much sleep.”
Rick added it was “just good to see” his daughter, who is currently serving her 45-day sentence for driving with a suspended license on the facility’s medical ward.
Kathy insisted that despite the circumstances Paris “was very happy” saying: “She wants to just do her time and get on with it.”
Meanwhile, it has been revealed the 26-year-old socialite has been dropped by her talent agency.
Endeavor representative Michael Donkis simply stated: “Paris is no longer a client.”
The company would not divulge the reasons behind the move, which was announced in an email circulated around the agency last Friday (08.06.07) - the day a judge overruled a decision to prematurely release Paris and sent her back to jail.
The Beverly Hills-based agency had represented “The Simple Life” star since 2005.
