Now that homosexual marriage is ok in CA, folks are lining up to wed. Next up, Ellen DeGeneres and long time love Portia de Rossi.

Apparently they have the big date set but are keeping hush on many of the details. Ellen says that some big people are performing and part of the wedding will be aired on her daytime talk show.

She presented Portia with a beautiful Neil Lane pink diamond ring in celebration.

Friends and colleagues of Heath Ledger met on the Sony lot Saturday for yet another memorial service for the actor who died suddenly.
Those in attendance included Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise, Sienna Miller, Ellen DeGeneres, and Shannyn Sossamon. The ceremony was closed to the public. This one came after friends and family members had held a smaller service at a cemetary in Los Angeles.

We all know that celebrities can be just like regular people and love some karaoke. A couple of stars proved just that for Ellen DeGeneres’ 50th birthday celebration on Friday. The talk show host’s birthday was actually on Saturday, so, Happy Birthday Ellen!.

Stars on the video sang to the tune of Gloria Gaynor’s ‘I Will Survive’. Jake Gyllenhaal did a little lip synching and booty-shaking to it. Other celebrities who joined in on the fun were Victoria Beckham, Queen Latifah, Kate Walsh, Jamie Foxx, Paris Hilton, Sharon Osbourne, David Spade, Heidi Klum, Masi Oka and Celine Dion. It’s quite a funny clip.

It isn’t every day that you can get the President of the United States on the line. But that’s just what Ellen did when she had Jenna Bush as a guest on her Wednesday show. The show was actually taped on Tuesday.Ellen prodded Jenna into calling her parents live from the show taping. She asked if Jenna could get her parents on the phone at any time. Jenna responded that she usually called in the morning or evening when she knew they would both be home.

Carefully covering the phone so no one can see the private number, Jenna finally agrees to call her parents. She jokingly says, “I’m not going to get anything I asked for for Christmas.”

Jenna finally gets through to First Lady Laura Bush. After talking to her for a moment, Jenna gets to talk to her father. The President comes to the phone, and his daughter says, “This is the Ellen Degeneres Show”.

Though surprised, he willingly talks to them both.
