House star Hugh Laurie said his character in the show is “endlessly interesting” to him.

Hugh, 50, plays the role of grumpy Dr Gregory House in the hit series and was nominated for the Best Actor Emmy for the third year in a row.

He said at the launch of the sixth season of the show: “I like lots of things about him. I think he’s funny. He’s endlessly interesting to me.

“He may not be the nicest man in the world, he may occasionally be mean but he’s never boring. At least not to me. That’s one of the things I love about him.”

However, there is one part of the character he can’t stand – his voice. He said: “The voice in particular, I don’t like it. I don’t think anyone likes the sound of their own voice.”

American Idol host Ryan Seacrest has claimed he is the reason that Simon Cowell isn’t attending the Emmys.

Ryan, 32, who also presents a morning radio show on LA radio station KIIS FM, is up for the Outstanding Reality Host award at the bash and Ryan said Simon, 49, isn’t attending in case he wins the award.

He said: “Simon has placed himself as far away from Los Angeles on Emmy night as possible, just in case I happen to get lucky enough to win one.

“He’s confirmed he will be in London just so he’s not there in case of the little possibility that I walk away with it.”

However Ryan has already planned what he will do to let Simon know if he wins the award.

He said: “I’m going to celebrate by Twitpic-ing my gold statue to him.”

What sucks about this whole thing is that the thing is, the divorce isn’t worst issue.
Apparently, her husband, Jay Faires filed for divorce from Debbie, without telling her.
HE DIDN’T EVEN HAVE THE DECENCY TO INFORM HER FIRST BEFORE HE FILED THE PAPERS!
Jeeeesus! What a freaking jerk.
And she found out about on the on the Internet along with his request to deny her spousal support. Nice.

Ryan Seacrest was the host of the 59th Primetime Emmy Awards that aired live last night and let’s just say he didn’t get the best of reviews. I didn’t think he was that bad! In fact, I thought he’d get GOOD review because we didn’t even see all that much of him. A lot of comedians had a lot of time on the mic. Even so, I thought it fine! Fact is, the Emmys are themselves just never all that interesting. People want to watch who like winning stuff, not the most ‘worthy’, like that cowboy/western crap or Tony Bennett or whatever…that’s why it’s kind of boring IMHO.. I thought Ryan did a perfectly good job hosting the Emmys…He’s not a comedian, he isn’t an entertainer, he’s a host!
