Keith Urban has bought his pregnant wife, Nicole Kidman, a $73,000 ring to give her when she gives birth.

The country star plans to give Nicole the expensive Cartier Trinity band when the actress, who is expected to welcome her new arrival into the world this month, is in the delivery room.

A source said: “It’s three rings intertwined, so it’s very symbolic.”

The piece of jewelery represents the three stages of a relationship – yellow gold for friendship, rose gold for love and white gold for fidelity. The source added: “It’s three turned into one and that’s how it will be with Keith, Nicole and the new baby.”

Cameron Diaz and Katie Holmes, who is now married to Nicole’s ex-husband Tom Cruise, are both said to have the same ring.

After a year of dating, Uma Thurman is engaged to her rich Swiss boyfriend Arpad “Arki” Busson.

This will be her third marriage. She was married to Gary Oldman and then to Ethan Hawke who she has a son and a daughter.

No wedding date has been set so far, but friends say Arki did a good job of selecting the 8 plus caret ring.

An inside source says that the QB was organizing an “intimate dinner for friends and family” which was set to take place in a few weeks to announce the engagement. Another source adds “Jessica has made no secret of the fact she wants to get married, and with all the Ashlee wedding talk and Jess’ dad’s involvement, Tony was obviously feeling it. I wouldn’t be surprised if he just couldn’t go through with the proposal and that’s what’s caused the break.”

Mariah Carey usually gets a lot of attention on her own but when she arrived at the Tribeca Film Festival red carpet premiere of her new movie ‘Tennessee’, there was something else that added to the media frenzy for the diva. The singer showed off a massive rock on her wedding finger. Is that an engagement ring? The 38-year old curvaceous diva has been quietly dating actor Nick Cannon for a few months now. Oh my God! Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz just turned into the music industry’s version of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt with this obviously staged picture moment in New York City this past Wednesday. The rumored mom-to-be and her bassist of a groom-to-be were photographed just by the lobby of their hotel sharing a very fake and so-called intimate moment. But really, all it really turned out to be was a chance to show off her giant diamond engagement ring. We all know she’s engaged and she doesn’t need to show off her rock! We want to know if she really is pregnant so I’d rather she just give a fake moment of Pete holding onto her tummy.

Well, apparently sporting a baby bump wasn’t enough for Jamie Lynn Spears. Now she’s sporting a fat ring, too.

Las Vegas star Josh Duhamel got down on one knee some time over the holiday season and popped the question and asked long time girlfriend Fergie to marry him. Josh’s rep confirmed the news to TMZ that he recently proposed, so we’re not sure when it happened but that it did. Congrats to the happy couple!

After a turbulent year behind the scenes, Ellen Pompeo now gives the mood on the set of Grey’s Anatomy a clean bill of health – though things have changed with the departure of cast members Kate Walsh and Isaiah Washington.

“It does feel different,” Pompeo told at L.A. Confidential magazine’s annual Emmy party, celebrating her cover shoot. “I love change. I think when one door opens or closes, another one opens. The seasons change and everything changes and I think change is good.”

“It’s good to turn over the dirt,” she continued of the show’s fourth season. “It feels nice and there’s new beginnings for everybody and it feels great.”

Walsh now has her own spin-off, Private Practice, and Washington will appear on the new show Bionic Woman after his firing from Grey’s in the controversy over his use of a homophobic slur.

“They’re missed, of course,” says Pompeo. “But I’m also very happy and very hopeful for their new beginnings. You know, they’re both taking on whole new chapters in their careers, which I think is really exciting for them. So, to sort of think about how it affects us is rather selfish. We just have to hope that their new endeavors are as successful, and I just wish them the best.”

Pompeo’s feelings were seconded by her Emmy-nominated co-star T.R. Knight. “It’s been going really well,” he told Sunday at a party celebrating the Emmy-nominated television producers, including Grey’s creator Shonda Rhimes.

Though Knight said he’s excited to be working new cast member Chyler Leigh, he is missing his pal, Walsh.

“I just went to her wedding this weekend and so luckily we’ll still see her, but what she brought to the show and on set and her humor we’ll miss her a lot,” Knight said.

Pompeo was joined at the L.A. Confidential party by her finacé, music executive Chris Ivery. The actress said she and Ivery aren’t in the midst of any wedding plans, and don’t expect to have a traditional ceremony.

“To me a wedding is a piece of paper,” she said. “I don’t think it’s going to change how we feel about each other. Every day is like a wedding when I wake up with him. We just have something so special. I don’t need a big dress or four hundred people there to declare my love. I think we declare it every day to each other. So that’s just our way. Different for different people.”

Ryan Reynolds is in final negotiations to star opposite Sandra Bullock in the Disney romantic comedy “The Proposal.”

Bullock plays a demanding boss who suddenly faces deportation to Canada. She makes a deal with her young assistant (Reynolds) to agree to a sham engagement and marriage.

Reynolds, a Canadian native, most recently starred in “Smokin’ Aces” and recently wrapped the indie drama “Fireflies in the Garden” with Julia Roberts. His other credits include “Van Wilder” and “Just Friends.’

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are having another baby-this was the big news Female First announced today quoting New Weekly.

Jennifer was seen to enter a doctor’s office with a well-shaped belly really happy and was shining. Maybe she is actually pregnant.

Garner has a 16-month daughter already Violet and she used to say that if possible she wants another baby. Jennifer is a really good mother and she spends all her spare time with her daughter and her husband. She tries to combine her engagements as actress with the child care.

A friend of Ben and Jenn has said that they have wanted their children to have a little difference of age to be able to play together.
