It is always an honor to be on the cover of an elite fashion magazine, but it is indeed a bigger enjoyment when two most popular men’s magazines publish a model on the cover in the same month.

The hot and sexy Megan Fox is in for a treat as she is the cover girl for both GQ and Maxim, this month.

Interestingly the “Transformers” hottie’s rep told the press that the photo on the Maxim cover is an old one.

It clearly meant that Maxim published an old photo on the cover just to jeopardize the GQ spread.

What an honor for the young budding star!

Anna Kournikova has been a queen of the court but it is almost history now.
The tennis star is still making the headlines not with her tennis shots but her modeling shoots.
She has made her place in the latest Maxim magazine spread. Kournikova has given a very revealing interview along with more revealing pictures. They will be published in the next month’s addition of Maxim.

She posed in a bikini for the magazine. Is it must to hide your best using a stupid bikini. Can’t we see more of you? Undoubtedly, Anna Kournikova has one of the best bodies I have ever seen.

Moody Mammas maternity clothers founders Marta Abrams and Elise Rosemarin have teamed up with Christian Siriano (Fierce-ness!) to create a new maternity collection for Spring 2009.
The line will be called Fierce for Moody Mammas by Christian Siriano.
A rep from Moody Mammas said that Siriano signed up with them because he thought it would be so much fun for a gay guy to team up with two women who have never had children to create such fashionable clothes.
Judging by the clothes Siriano has produced on and off Project Runway, these clothes may be not too comfortable, BUT YOU’LL DEFINITELY LOOK GOOD.
So to all the future mammas out there, better be ready because the fierceness is invading your closet.

Cosmetics giant L’Oreal was under fire last night over claims it made black star Beyonce Knowles’ skin appear white in an advert.

It seems we’re not all “worth it” after all.

The New York Post called the picture “shocking” and accused L’Oreal of making Beyonce, 26, look like a “weird, nearly white version of herself.”

And yesterday Britain’s best-selling black newspaper The Voice said it would be “disgusted” if the image had been “whitewashed”.

Editor Steve Pope said: “There is an attitude in the modelling industry that black models do not sell. Models that end up in magazines tend to be very, very light-skinned or Asian. It appears Beyonce has been the victim of that kind of attitude. If it is true, I cannot understand why anyone would want to do anything so ridiculous. It is offensive to Beyonce. It is trying to distort who she is.”

Last night L’Oreal denied any tampering.

A spokesman said: “It is categorically untrue that L’Oreal Paris altered Miss Knowles’ features or skin tone in the campaign for Feria hair colour.”

A spokesman for Beyonce — who is wed to US rapper JAY-Z, 38 — repeated L’Oreal’s statement.

It looks like someone finally got the clothing line deal down as a new star who ventures into the business looks like she actually has some potential. Aubrey O’Day has finally found what she’s really good at apart from being a whore by making her own line. Unlike Lindsay Lohan’s out of style leggings, I can see most people actually wearing Aubrey’s designs. What’s even better is that she’s not following Lauren Conrad’s overpriced move. Some of Aubrey’s tees are only priced in the $18-24 range. They might not be the most eye-catching and groundbreaking designs but it works and it’s wearable.

One of Vanessa Paradis’s pictures for the new Miu Miu campaign has leaked. The photo was taken by fashion photo super duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. The French actress, singer and long time girlfriend of Johnny Depp, is the new face of the fashion house. Vanessa took Kirsten Dunst’s place as the face of the Italian style house. Miuccia Prada supposedly chose the French songstress because she casts a “certain powerful independence”. Vanessa looks great in the picture but I’m not totally blown over. Maybe it’s because we usually see her all glammed up anyway so it’s not that far of a stretch.

A second Mariah Carey perfume is scheduled to hit the stores in September. It’s going to be called Luscious Pink by Mariah Carey. The new scent, just like her first fragrance M by Mariah Carey, will have notes of Tahitian tiare flower but is changed up by having a bouquet of lily of the valley, pink peony and a touch of white musk. Of releasing another perfume, the curvaceous diva says “Launching my first perfume was such an amazing experience that it has inspired me to expand my fragrance collection.” If she really wanted to expand her collection, she would have gone a completely different choice of base notes.

Now that Jennifer Lopez is done being pregnant with her twins but I’m sure is not yet done shedding the baby weight, she is adding to her list of titles as she is set to create a new workout gear clothing line. An insider told OK! magazine “She has some street gear already in her lines, but she wants something exclusively for sneakers, yoga pants and dance gear. She wants it to look great in the gym and in the street, and to be affordable and functional.” She must have been inspired to make her new line because the workout clothes she was using were so drab. Jennifer already has the clothing lines SweetFace and JustSweet to her name.

Avril Lavigne wants to become a magazine editor.

The ‘Girlfriend’ singer is keen to branch out beyond the music industry and try her hand at running a celebrity publication, but insists she will only focus on optimistic stories.

She said: “I would make it completely positive. There’s so much negativity in the world right now. I’d pick up the big stories, but they’d have to be positive.”

This isn’t the first time Avril has expressed an interest in other careers. Last month, the singer unveiled her new clothing line - Abbey Dawn. The range, which includes hooded tops, jeans and T-shirts, will go on sale in the US in July.

The 23-year-old singer is also planning to release her own range of beauty products. Avril applied for a patent for the line which is set to include “fragrances and perfume, aftershave, bath soap, shower gel, bath crystals, body lotion, body cream, hand lotion and talc.”

We may not be seeing her out as much due to her impetigo condition but that’s not preventing Amy Winehouse from being a party animal. Early Tuesday morning, the singer was spotted shouting goodbye to her friends who were leaving her Camden home looking a little worse for wear. Wino can’t be looking like that for much longer if reports are true that she has been offered a lucrative deal by top fashion designer Roberto Cavalli. The offer reportedly comes after Victoria Beckham told the designer how she admired Amy’s unique sense of style. A rep for Amy says that she is still considering many offers at the moment so there’s no confirmation there.

Amy Winehouse will get $1 million to sing for George Clooney and Julia Roberts.

The troubled ‘Rehab’ singer has been offered the staggering sum to perform at the Costume Institute Gala Benefit at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 5, organized by institute co-chairs George and Julia.

A source said: “Amy was taken aback when she learned that George Clooney and Julia Roberts were after her. Their representatives have been phoning her offices and sending dozens of emails to convince her to take part. She’s seriously considering their generous offer. She hasn’t really taken it in - and keeps saying that her life is getting more surreal by the second.”

Fashion designer and honorary chair Giorgio Armani, who is a huge fan of the Grammy Award winner and pleaded with organisers to ask her to be involved, are hosting the glitzy bash.

The source added: “Giorgio has made no secret to his friends that he would love to work with Amy. He sees this party as an ideal opportunity to sound her out about future projects together.”

Amy’s potential $1 million pay packet is dwarfed by what some other musicians charge for private performances. The Rolling Stones demand up to $8 million - making them the most expensive party act on the planet.

The Eagles charge $7,5 million, while Canadian singer Celine Dion can command up to around $6,5 million.

When you can’t sell concert tickets, sell clothes instead. According to USA Today, Avril Lavigne is teaming up with retailer Kohl’s to launch her own clothing line in July. The juniors’ collection named ‘Abbey Dawn’, after Avril’s childhood nickname, will feature “a lot of hot pinks and blacks and stars and purple and zebra. Basically, everything I wear. I have a very particular style. I want it to be available to a lot of girls, and I want it to be affordable. I walked through (a Los Angeles) Kohl’s the other day and said, ‘Oh, when my line is here it’s totally going to stand out.” Pieces from the line will range from $24 to $48.

Christina Aguilera does her best Jean Harlow impersonation as she poses for the new ads as the new face of London jeweler Stephen Webster. The sexy mama is looking even more fabulous in the new shots from the ad campaign. Webster styled the Grammy Award winning singer into an Alfred Hitchcock movie heroine. Her look definitely puts her in that type of setting. And much like Hitchcock’s penchant for depicting fear and fantasy, the ads are shot in both color and black and white. The Rehab singer, sporting a nasty bump to the side of her face, was paid a whopping $1000k to perform at the bash. She had attempted to cover the lump with loads of make-up but told the well-heeled guests it was “so big I can see it out of my eye.

The event ended in an almighty scrap among some of the guests as they jockeyed for position to hear her sing. A source at Paris Fashion Week said: “It was a complete fiasco. It got nasty and people were breaking bottles. Organisers had to lock the crowd in without any drinks while she performed.”

Now this is how you create a commotion! It has been a while since Mariah Carey scored a hit but that doesn’t mean that she can no longer stop crowds and create a media storm. The curvaceous diva posed for cameras as she shopped for butterfly designs on Monday at Van Cleef & Arpels on Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles. The singer also made a stop into Gucci for some extra shopping as paparazzi continued to get shots of her and her amazing cleavage – at least when they have a clear shot of it. There’s no doubt that it wasn’t just her cleavage which made jaws drop. I’m sure her credit card bill will too.

Celebrities who want a turn at being an entrepreneur usually go to the fragrances route but everyone is pretty much over it especially when their products stink. Kylie Minogue is the most recent celebrity entrepreneur but before who pinch your nose, apparently, she’s over the perfumes too!

The Australian singer is coming out with her own bed linen collection instead. ‘Kylie at Home’ will debut later this year. How would you like to be in bed with Kylie? If she’s giving us sheets, maybe a condom line should be in the works too so people will be safe as they roll in between her sheets.

Ginger Spice is the latest Spice Girl to post a blog on their official website and she chose to talk about her experience walking down the runway at the Roberto Cavalli fashion show. She talked about being flown to the show in a private jet and how glamorous it was. She also said that she was primarily there to check out the eye candy but that the models weren’t her cup of tea. She got free clothes as consolation though.

The Spice Girls only have a handful of gigs left at The O2 before they head off to Manchester. Shortly thereafter, they would be heading back to the east coast of the USA.

Lily Allen is pregnant and she has her own clothing line. What’s a girl to do? Of course she has to make a maternity collection! That’s not what she thinks though. But she does have a point.

Lily said “I’ve had a lot of offers from people to do my own maternity range but I don’t think it is the right message to send to young Britain. I’m not the best example. I’m pregnant and a bit young, aren’t I? My demographic is generally young girls, so I don’t think a maternity line is suitable. It isn’t the best impression to give them.”

When you look at Amy Winehouse the last thing you think of is fashion. With a string of troubles including drugs, bulimia and a jailed hubby you are more likely to think of a walking disaster area.

Unless of course your name is Karl Lagerfield. The top designer thinks that the singer is his new muse; even going as far as to compare her with sixties French actress Bridget Bardot.

To prove it the new line (ahem) by the designer is totally dedicated to the beehive queen.

Karl said of the singer: “She is a beautiful, gifted artist. And I very much like her hairdo. I took it as an inspiration. Because, in fact, it was also Brigitte Bardot’s hairdo in the late Fifties and Sixties. And now Amy has made it her own style.

“So, when I saw her, I knew it was the right moment. Amy . . . she is the new Brigitte.”

To be honest, I was a bit disappointed that the Spice Girls lipsynched their songs at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Thursday and the BBC One special on Friday. But sources close to the ladies are guaranteeing that they will be singing live when they go out on tour which will kick off on December 2.

An insider explains the reason for the girls making a shortcut at the fashion show saying “Last night with all the production issues and different set ups, it would have been a nightmare. Better safe than sorry. Rarely do we trust TV sound (apart from the big awards shows).”

I guess we just have to wait for the tour.

Jennifer Lopez is coming out with a new fragrance. She recently had an interview on how and why she created the perfume ‘Deseo’, which is Spanish for desire. She says that she was inspired by the scents in her garden and that she thinks the perfume industry is going good right now with the many other artists releasing fragrances.

The perfume is due out in February and is a mix of scents of “watery bamboo leaves, garden yuzu, Sicilian bergamot and freesia; the heart is composed of star jasmine, pink geranium flower, orange blossom and French mimosa, and the drydown is of warm amber, oak moss, sensual musks, creamy sandalwood, atlas cedar wood, patchouli and mineral accord”.

You can get it in a pretty nifty bottle which is in the shape of a “diamond in the rough”.

Thanks to who ever it may concern if at all it does make a difference, for cluing the last 3 humans on earth into the fact that models look different in real life than they do in pictures (not necessarily worse, just different). That is an amazing observation. Have you submitted this to the Nobel committee yet, because you may be a lock for the Science Nobel next year? Yeah, without makeup, she looks closer to her actual age (which is what? 22?). Still looks pretty hot. Chicks start wearing makeup in junior high so they can look older and more “sophisticated” (and needless to say, most fail at the second one). Somewhere in the mid-twenties, the makeup makes you look older all right, but in a bad way. When you’re spackling it on to cover up years of smoking, tanning, not getting enough sleep, you may as well not even bother because you’ll just end up looking like a tranny (or Paris Hilton). Not hot.

Warning: I’m about to say something nice. It’s pretty refreshing to see someone who isn’t trying to look like she’s 20 years younger than she is, which makes her, in my opinion, far more attractive and sexy than if she was botoxed, cut, lifted, collagened and siliconed to the point of looking like a mannequin as so many other celebrities are these days. Liz knows how to dress appropriately for her age and emphasize her positive attributes. She looks confident and comfortable in her own skin … as if (Gasp!) she likes herself as she is. I think that’s a great thing when so many other celebrities are artificially trying to achieve flawless, youthful appearances. Liz isn’t perfect, but she’s pretty damn hot. Anybody else find it tacky that she is at an event for boob cancer and is flaunting her own droopiest?? It’s like flaunting her own goods when a lot of women have double mastectomies. It’s a bit cruel and insensitive

The girls have definitely grown up. They are now way past wearing spandex and cheesy outfits because they are trading up. For their upcoming world tour, the Spice Girls are going from track suits to couture creations.

The girl group have commissioned fashion big wig Roberto Cavalli to develop a new look for them and to create the outfits for the tour. Can you say diva-fied?

Cavalli is best known for his outlandish and extravagant outfits. Incidentally enough, he also happens to be a personal favourite of Posh Spice Victoria Beckham. But his name and talent comes at a price. The budget for the new looks: $4 million.

Catherine Zeta-Jones was announced as the new face of high-end jewelry line Di MODOLO. I think this lady stands out as a person who simulates all the great virtues of a beautiful woman of out times, she just doesn’t have a pretty face but also the grace and attitude to match her looks. And unlike other celebs it looks like all natural beauty to me. Catherine has beautiful curves that she’s not afraid to flaunt and a beautiful face to go with it. If you have a close look at her and I am sure most men always have a very close look at her(something not to be said), she is just 2 shy of being aged 40 but the wrinkles are nowhere to been seen and that’s called spotless beauty, woman would be jealous of her but also many would admire her for her look. It’s something that women would crave for. And why just a jewelry brand I think her face is so famous that she could be the face of many high end perfume companies, apparel companies and you name it and she could be there to launch it.

And boy, what a gift! A half ounce bottle of the scent will set you back $175! Wouldn’t it be better to just treat someone to dinner and a movie?

He stay away from Kate’s business world and concentrates on what he does best, play the guitar. Marc Jacobs is considered the bellwether designer of American fashion. So, what’s the outlook for next spring? Um, a lot of lingerie?

Jacobs presented his spring collection late Monday night to a packed crowd that had been waiting in the Lexington Avenue Armory for two hours. (Celebrities such as Victoria Beckham and Sheryl Crow didn’t wait quite as long they seemed to know to show up “fashionably late.”)

But it looked like he could have used a little more time. Models were wearing what Jacobs called “scrap tops” and “one-half gowns” clothes that one presumes were left unfinished to make an ironic statement thus, giving the audience plenty of glimpses of their silk, satin and crepe bras, slips and tap pants.

On their own, individual elements of the outfits, such as a black lace cape or a moire sleeveless trench coat, were very attractive, but wearable clothes wasn’t the point here. Surely some of the stylists, retailers, editors and fashion fans went home shaking their heads. Jacobs, however, definitely had a plan.

The entire show was staged backward, beginning with his bow, then the finale and then running through the looks, starting with No. 56 and ending with No. 1, a denim cape and sequined gown. Some of the shoes had had heels built sideways into the uppers, while others skimmed so low on the heel they looked too small for the models even though they actually fit just fine.

It was almost surprising that Jacobs did indeed turn out clothes appropriate for warmer weather instead of parkas and cozy sweaters.
