Jamie Lynn Spears will reportedly have a cesarean section. According to reports, the 17-year-old actress - who is expecting her first child with fiancé Casey Aldridge - has been told by doctors she will have to undergo the procedure after an ultrasound picture showed the baby was in the breech position.

If Jamie Lynn does not have the C-section, she could put the baby’s life in danger as it would be born upside down, and its oxygen intake would be restricted.

Meanwhile, Jamie Lynn’s older sister Britney arrived in Louisiana yesterday to support the ‘Zoey 101′ actress during the birth. Britney, 26, was accompanied by her father Jamie, brother Bryan and assistant Brett as they flew from Los Angeles to New Orleans, before they headed over to Lynne Spears’ home in Kentwood.

Jamie Lynn and Casey are reportedly expecting a baby girl, after Jamie Lynn was spotted carrying a pink baby carrier earlier this year. They are said to be planning to name their new daughter a combination of both of their Christian names - either Cailynn or Cassie.

Well, apparently sporting a baby bump wasn’t enough for Jamie Lynn Spears. Now she’s sporting a fat ring, too.

Rumor is, she’s flashing an engagement ring from baby daddy Casey Aldridge. A source says, “She’s got an engagement ring. She’s been showing it off, talking about it.”

No word on a wedding date or any confirmation from her camp.
