It’s been months since Kanye West’s mother, Dr. Donda West, died but it’s only just now that Kanye is opening up about it. The rapper recently posted a blog to talk about how his life is different after his mom’s passing. He says “I don’t do anything I don’t love anymore… While people chase money I pursue happiness… If there’s anything my mom taught me is to enjoy life. I just recorded my first verse in the last 6 months 2 days ago at Bape’s Studio in Japan. It felt good and I was inspired… The constant hours of creating helped me 2 keep from loosing my mind in a bad way. Chris Milk told me tragedy can produce great art and this is definitely true. I am a total mad man now, up till 3 am every night, trying 2 fight pain, board-um, and uncertainty with creativity. All that said, life is good.”

It’s normally something you expect to hear about middle age spinsters desperate for a man to fulfill their lives…or something like that. But recently, hip-hop star Kanye West has admitted he is desperate to be married.

Woah girls! Slow down! Before you all rush to volunteer, the hunky singer has already found his perfect woman.

I know, I know; I can here the groans of disappointment from here. But Kayne insists, “I wouldn’t get married to prove anything to anyone - it’s for me, for stability in my life, and I’m so happy that I found someone that I really love, that challenges me that keeps my life interesting, that’s just as crazy as I am.”

Following the recent death of his mother, Donda, he reveals he has realized how precious life can be, and is fully ready to marry his loving supportive fiancé, Alexis Phifer.
