Sienna Miller bears no grudge against Cate Blanchett over her forfeiting of the Maid Marian role in the upcoming film Robin Hood.

“Cate’s 10 years older than me, which is more suitable for the script,” the actress has told a movie magazine.

“The script kept changing and evolving to the point where I was no longer appropriate for it.”

Miller was to have played the merry maid opposite Russell Crowe as Robin. The Ridley Scott-directed film has been shooting most recently on the Welsh coast.

“If they’d recast with Keira Knightley I’d have been heartbroken,” Miller said, “but they’ve gone for something different – and better in my opinion … If I had the choice between Cate Blanchett and me I’d go for Cate Blanchett.”

She also pointed out that other actors were swapped as the film developed. “There were several people supposed to be doing the film who no longer are but because it’s me it becomes this enormous drama – I think it’s a Sienna thing! …. There’s just a vendetta against … I don’t know.”

An anti-domestic violence advert featuring Keira Knightley has been banned by a censoring company after it was deemed too violent for British television.

The advert, called The Cut, was made by charity Women’s Aid and features Knightley being repeatedly kicked after returning home from a shoot and being accused of having an affair by her boyfriend.

But Clearcast, which censors adverts for Ofcom, has reportedly said certain scenes of the actress being thrown to the ground will have to be cut to be aired on television.

Lucy Brown, from charity Women’s Aid who made the film, said: “We were very careful to reflect what we had heard from anecdotal evidence. We have put this forward to Clearcast, with statistics from the Home Office, and other material.”

Chris Hirst, managing director of Grey London Advertising Agency said: “The reason we are still in conversation with Clearcast about it is because they believe it is too violent.”

He added, according to British newspaper the Daily Telegraph: “Part of the point of the campaign is to raise awareness about domestic violence and spark debate, which the advert has done, even if it doesn’t make it on to TV.”

Actress Keira Knightley has been tipped to play Princess Diana in a movie biopic based on a recent book.
Bidding for the rights to Diana and the Paparazzi has been fierce, but Hollywood is apparently united on the possible star of any Diana production.
Quinton Reynolds, a film producer, is reported to have told the Sun: “Already the word in Hollywood is ‘get Knightley’. It’s a story that has everything: pathos, tragedy, comedy, adventure and Princess Diana.”
The Queen, starring Helen Mirren and released last year, told the story of the aftermath of Diana’s death from the view of the royal family. It was a huge success, both at the box office and with the critics, scooping a number of academy awards and Baftas. But the feeling in Hollywood is that any film focusing in Diana would do even better, especially at the box office.
“For every pound The Queen makes, a film about Diana will make ten”, the film producer said.
Dealings related to the movie were reportedly underway at Cannes film festival while Knightley was enjoying box office success with her latest film Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End.
Her next movie will be Atonement, which is based on Ian McEwan’s novel of the same name and also stars James McAvoy.

The stunning actress, who is currently shooting sex scenes with Sienna Miller for new movie ‘The Best Time of Our Lives’, bares her body so much she is worried there will be a backlash from fans.
Keira told Total Film magazine: “There are plenty of sex scenes in the book, so the adaptation is true to its source. I think soon, people are going to insist I keep my clothes on! I wouldn’t do anything I didn’t feel completely comfortable with. I suppose I’m very European in my attitude to my body. I’m an actress. I have certain tools. One of them is my body. I don’t mind stripping off occasionally.”
Keira – who stars in ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End’ alongside Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom – has also criticised the plastic toy figure of her character Elizabeth Swann, saying it bears little resemblance to her boyish figure.
She said: “It’s nothing like me. She has got t*ts for a start! I don’t have any t*ts!”
The 22-year-old actress loved working with Johnny and Orlando on the third ‘Pirates…’ film, but struggled to deal with their jealous female fans.
Keira moaned: “Women look at me as if they want to kill me. And then when they don’t kill me they say through gritted teeth, ‘Lucky you’.”

The actress wishes she had the “amazing” social skills of Sienna, because she struggles to think of anything to say at showbiz parties and ends up “grinning aimlessly” at strangers.
Keira is quoted as saying: “At parties, I stand on my own, grinning aimlessly. I can never think of a thing to say. I wish I was Sienna Miller. I watch that girl and she is just fabulous. She talks to everyone and laughs and smiles. She looks as if she is genuinely enjoying herself. When I talk to her, I hope a bit of her party personality will rub off on me but it never does. She could give master classes in being the most amazing party guest.”
As well as hating parties, Keira has also developed a phobia of walking down the red carpet. The “Pirates of the Caribbean” actress is paranoid she will be ridiculed for her choice of dress at premieres and awards shows.
Keira, 22, said: “I’ve become phobic about the red carpet because you come under intense scrutiny. I always think I’m going to make it into the top ten of some worst dressed list. I really do try, but I’m just no good at that stuff.”
Keira is currently shooting new movie “The Best Time Of Our Lives” – which was written by Keira’s mother Sharman Macdonald and is about the life of Welsh poet Dylan Thomas – alongside Sienna.
The “Factory Girl” actress, who plays Dylan’s wife Caitlin, replaced Lindsay Lohan in the movie after Lindsay pulled out of the project following a dispute with the film’s financiers.
Keira and Sienna are set to have an on screen threesome with actor Matthew Rhys, who will play the hard-drinking poet.
