Peaches Geldof jetted out to join fiery dad Sir Bob on a sunshine holiday yesterday — for showdown talks over her whirlwind marriage in Las Vegas.
The Live Aid hero’s rebel daughter, 19, boarded a plane at Gatwick to face the music in Majorca — MINUS her wedding ring.
Sources said former Boomtown Rat Sir Bob, 56, summoned her to explain getting hitched to US rocker Max Drummey — her boyfriend of just four weeks.
One said: “The whole family has been shocked by Peaches getting married. Bob has given his blessing from a distance — but he wants to talk to her face to face. This is her big chance to explain what has been going on.”
Yesterday the teenager’s new hubby also ditched his wedding band — as he and the vocalist in his indie rock duo Chester French took to the stage in Los Angeles. Drummey, 23, said: “I don’t like wearing it when I play — it gets in the way.”
His gig at the Spaceland club in Silverlake still kicked off in disaster as his guitar jammed during the opening song. Quizzed on his way into the concert about how the 15-minute wedding went, the American declared: “It was nice, thanks.”
Drummey, who refused to take his sunglasses off throughout the entire ceremony, was also asked if he had been drunk when he and Peaches tied the knot with a photographer acting as witness.
He insisted: “No — it was early in the morning.”
His bride, who last week flew home from the US, is expected to spend the weekend with her father on the Spanish isle before returning to England.
The source said: “Bob’s told her that he will support her as long as she assures him it’s a serious relationship and not a stunt. He just wants Peaches to be straight with him and tell him the facts.”
