Lily Allen fought back the tears during her appearance at Glastonbury this weekend, taking to the stage just hours after her beloved grandmother passed away.

Allen’s appearance was put into jeopardy following the terrible news that Nana Allen – mother of Lily’s actor father Keith- had passed away on Saturday evening. But Allen surprised organizers by keeping her promise to sing at the festival and appeared in an emotional state as she took to the stage.

Joining Mark Ronson to perform Littlest Things, a visibly moved Lily said: “My Nana Allen died last night. This is for Nana Allen. I love you.”

She clutched copies of her lyrics and explained she had forgotten them.

On Friday night Lily and her new man dined with a pal at the Nobu eaterie and were next seen coming out of her flat yesterday morning.

The 22-year-old singer’s RayBan-wearing mystery man was making her laugh—lifting the dark cloud she’s been under since suffering a miscarriage in January and then splitting from Chemical Brothers boyfriend Ed Simmons.

An onlooker said: “There were lots of smiles—it was so sweet.”

Unless you’re going to a Halloween party or going trick or treating, black lipstick is just not that flattering on many people. And I’m sort of wondering whether her eyebrows were lightened or if it’s just the contrast with the lips but for sure, Lily Allen is one hot mess with this Goth look of hers.

The singer unleashed her inner Goth at the Luella fashion show in London this week. I guess she’s styling herself according to her mood. It’s not a good thing girl. You better get yourself together before I go over there and whip your butt.

Poor Lily Allen has lost her baby. The 22-year-old singer was excited at the idea of becoming a Mum; rearranging work and attempting to give up smoking so that she could concentrate on becoming the perfect Mum. Our hearts go out to her and boyfriend Ed Simons at this tragic time.

A source said: “Lily and Ed are in a state of shock. The bad news has been really difficult for them to take and they are absolutely heartbroken. Lily’s entire outlook on life changed after she found out she was pregnant. She was looking forward to being a mum and starting a family with Ed. She had turned her back on her party girl image and had turned over a new leaf. Friends and family surround them and are offering support. It is a really difficult time for them.”

Lily had just returned from a romantic holiday in the Maldives with Ed when the tragedy hit. Her spokesman said: “We can confirm that Lily Allen has suffered a miscarriage. She and her partner Ed Simons will be making no further comment and we ask that their privacy be respected during this difficult time.”

Lily Allen is pregnant and she has her own clothing line. What’s a girl to do? Of course she has to make a maternity collection! That’s not what she thinks though. But she does have a point.

Lily said “I’ve had a lot of offers from people to do my own maternity range but I don’t think it is the right message to send to young Britain. I’m not the best example. I’m pregnant and a bit young, aren’t I? My demographic is generally young girls, so I don’t think a maternity line is suitable. It isn’t the best impression to give them.”

Hurray some more happy news! Not a wedding; even better. We can expect the arrival of another celebrity rugrat – this time courtesy of Lily Allen and boyfriend Ed Simons.

This will be the couple’s first child and they are all smiles. A source close to the singer said: “Lily is thrilled to be pregnant and can’t wait to become a mum. She’s a real family person. Ed’s very happy. He is really looking after her.”

Though the couple haven’t been together very long. 22-year-old Lily and Chemical Brother’s singer Ed, who is 15 years her senior, have only been dating since September. But they plan to set up home together and seem to be very pleased.
