Keanu Reeves said racing was a great experience considering they had a great group.

Interviews are what Hollywood celebrities hog on, at least most of them barring a few. But actor Patrick Swayze who has acted in movies like ‘Ghost’ will be giving his first interview to Barbara Walters since the actor announced he was battling pancreatic cancer last year.

Walters has already done that interview with the actor wherein she conducted an in-depth chat with the star, which will air on January 7. Both Patrick Swayze & Barbara Walters are old friends and Barbara Walters she first interviewed Swayze for a TV special eight years ago. This time the two met up at Swayze’s ranch outside Los Angeles.

Patrick Swayze is amongst my most admired Hollywood actors. He has shown grace & courage through this ordeal and it is inspiring to see a person as wonderful as him show his strong side and humor at such a time when his life and health hangs in the balance.

Great attitude Swayze, it is the only way to come out of such a devastating blow.

After reports of health and finance woes, the new rumor is that Jacko is plunking down $100,000 a month for a lavish mansion in Los Angeles. The grand $38 million Bel-Air home boasts 7 bedrooms, 13 bathrroms, 12 fireplaces, a screening room, a guest house, sweeping staircases, pools, a sundeck and classic interiors. I’m not sure when he’s planning to move. Right now, the dethroned King of Pop is keeping a low profile in Las Vegas with his kids. Where does he get the money?

Jamie Lynn Spears will reportedly have a cesarean section. According to reports, the 17-year-old actress – who is expecting her first child with fiancé Casey Aldridge – has been told by doctors she will have to undergo the procedure after an ultrasound picture showed the baby was in the breech position.

If Jamie Lynn does not have the C-section, she could put the baby’s life in danger as it would be born upside down, and its oxygen intake would be restricted.

Meanwhile, Jamie Lynn’s older sister Britney arrived in Louisiana yesterday to support the ‘Zoey 101′ actress during the birth. Britney, 26, was accompanied by her father Jamie, brother Bryan and assistant Brett as they flew from Los Angeles to New Orleans, before they headed over to Lynne Spears’ home in Kentwood.

Jamie Lynn and Casey are reportedly expecting a baby girl, after Jamie Lynn was spotted carrying a pink baby carrier earlier this year. They are said to be planning to name their new daughter a combination of both of their Christian names – either Cailynn or Cassie.

The stars on Dancing will be short one member. Derek Hough, partner of Shannon Elizabeth, was taken from the set in an ambulance with an apparent neck injury. The injury was sustained during rehearsals.

An ABC spokesperson said that he was taken to an L.A. hospital to be examined. He went on, “The injury does not appear to be serious.”

Now this is how you create a commotion! It has been a while since Mariah Carey scored a hit but that doesn’t mean that she can no longer stop crowds and create a media storm. The curvaceous diva posed for cameras as she shopped for butterfly designs on Monday at Van Cleef & Arpels on Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles. The singer also made a stop into Gucci for some extra shopping as paparazzi continued to get shots of her and her amazing cleavage – at least when they have a clear shot of it. There’s no doubt that it wasn’t just her cleavage which made jaws drop. I’m sure her credit card bill will too.

After three days without sleep and nights spent talking to trees, troubled star Britney Spears is in official meltdown. Her psychiatrist paid her a midnight call and is thought to be trying to have her sectioned under the Mental Health act once again for her own safety.

Mum Lynne and manager, Sam Lufti, are currently in the house with Britney, who is said to inert, unresponsive and confused.

This new breakdown comes after Britney went on a 5am shopping trip to buy Red Bull and constipation pills before continuing her habit of driving aimlessly around Los Angeles all night in her new car.

At one point she stopped inexplicably in the middle of a canyon road, clambered from the Mercedes and confessed to the waiting photographers she was dizzy, afraid and wanted to go home. She then padded into the forest making strange faces and muttering to the trees in her new mock British accent.

The psychiatrist was told about the driving and decided she must be hospitalised on another “5150 hold” – which her manager agrees with.

Poor Britney. Incidentally, boyfriend Adnan is nowhere to be seen.

Britney Spears has finally attended a deposition when she was supposed to. The braless singer and her ‘manager’ Sam Lufti arrived at the offices of Kevin Federline’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan in Los Angeles at 10.45am on Mon and left around 1pm.

Britney, who reportedly spoke in a British accent, gave evidence in the couple’s prolonged child custody battle, answering questions about parenting, her drug and alcohol abuse and her ability to provide adequate care to her two young sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Britney’s attendance at the office follows a series of no-shows at previous appointments and court hearings. Is it a case of better late than never? And what is with the British accent?

We’ve seen Angelina Jolie head into third world countries in hopes of helping them recoup losses. Now we see the other half of Hollywood’s most beautiful couple heading out at home.

Brad Pitt spent Monday in the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans for his “Make It Right Project”. The project will push for the building of 150 environmentally homes that will be affordable to residents who were uprooted after Hurricane Katrina. This area is one of the poorest regions in the city and was the site of some of the worst flooding caused by Katrina in 2005.

Pitt is seeking pledges to help with the work. He has agreed to match up to $5 billion in contributions with billionaire Steve Bing agreeing to do the same.

The area surrounding Pitt and the onlookers was lined wit hot pink tents marking where the homes would stand. Brad said they chose pink because “it screams the loudest. It says people are coming back.”

Kudos to you, Brad, for using your celebrity status to push for something good!

Britney Spears has been banned from driving with her young sons in the same car after her ex-husband Kevin Federline’s attorney called an emergency court hearing to question her road skills. Kevin’s lawyer is not a “gangster lawyer”. The whole issue is the safety of the kids. Britney doesn’t seem to care about any of it. she blatantly disregards what she is being asked to do in order to even get back 50/50 custody.She is really messed up and I am beginning to believe the theory that she really does not want the kids. Hell…she just bought a new car that seats 2!I really wish the court would mandate her getting treated at a mental health facility outside of California. Maybe it will also mean that she’ll even stay home now those two days and one overnight she has the kids. Knowing her she’ll just leave them home with a nanny and the monitor and keep going out for her starbuck, gas station, taco bell, target, run etc. But I hope not.

She checks out alright but she checks out her baby and not in the other sense of the phrase. A bundled up Christina Aguilera was spotted on a relatively mild evening in Los Angeles on Monday. The singer who’s rumored to be around six months pregnant was seen as she was about to leave a doctor’s office.

It’s being passed around that she and her husband Jordan are expecting a boy for their first child. If having guests from her baby shower showing up bringing blue and boy-themed gifts were any clue, it’s not just a rumor. She’s also reportedly planning to have two more baby showers. Why, not enough gifts from the first one?

It’s funny I think “exhaustion” is an affliction that only Hollywood people get, because I don’t know any normal people who have ever been hospitalized for exhaustion. Let’s also keep in mind that these people are extremely pampered and get paid huge sums of money to do little to nothing. They all eat very well and they even do not shoot under the burning sun, they have the best luxuries that even some other millionaires would never feel like using, they get the best hotels, best dresses and they are never made to work hard to the extent of exhaustion. They work for months but it shifts, like if they are working in the wee hours of the morning then they will not be asked to shoot in the night again. Have to seen or rather read the diva request that Jennifer Lopez and Rihanna make when they are to perform at a venue, the reps and staff reach that hotel before hand and hand them a list of requirements to tea time, wake up time, sea food and the list goes on and on. So exhaustion is really not the case and drugs overdose is the only thing that’s made her to go to the hospital.

It looks like Sporty Spice is making herself right at home in Los Angeles. The Spice Girl was spotted on Sunday when she went shopping for healthy food at ‘Wild Oats’ organic supermarket. I guess Mel C is staying true to her moniker. She has to be in tip top shape for the upcoming Spice Girls reunion tour of course.

The tour will kick off in Vancouver on December and is going to last until at least February.

Emma and Geri, Baby and Ginger Spice respectively, are the only two Spices left that aren’t in LA yet. Expect them to be in sometime soon.
