Even though they only placed second, the U.S. Figure Skating Championships were perfect for couple John Baldwin and Rena Inoue. The two have skated together for seven years, and this weekend, John decided they needed to spend the rest of their lives together, too.

After they finished their routine, John dropped to one knee on the ice and asked her to marry him. As she stood, silent in astonishment, the crowd started chanting, “Yes! Yes!” She did say yes, and the two couldn’t be happier.

Ok I know the world and his wife are probably sick to the back teeth of the Britney Spears and Adnan Ghalib saga. I know I pretty much am. However the man just keeps pushing to the point where you can’t help but comment on it.

Just a month into their relationship, Adnan claims to ‘risk’ Britney never speaking to him again to allegedly clear his name. In reality what he is doing is creating more scandal, and money-making opportunities, by lifting the lid on their affair and telling all to two US TV shows.

He insisted he is speaking out merely to clear his name and slammed reports he is exploiting Britney to rake in cash, denying he made any financial gain from the interviews. But he admitted it could mean the fallen starlet never speaks to him again, and shatter his dreams of marrying her. Adnan also slammed critics who have questioned his relationship with the chart-topper, saying they do not want her to find true happiness, “Whatever it takes. Scandal sells”.

Jessica Simpson is being blamed for her boyfriend Tony Romo’s less than impressive last few games with the Dallas Cowboys and someone thinks that it’s just not fair. Surprisingly enough, it’s Jessica’s ex John Mayer who comes to her defense. The sensitive yet cocky rocker posted a blog on his website defending Jess entitled “Don’t Ex with Texas”.

Las Vegas star Josh Duhamel got down on one knee some time over the holiday season and popped the question and asked long time girlfriend Fergie to marry him. Josh’s rep confirmed the news to TMZ that he recently proposed, so we’re not sure when it happened but that it did. Congrats to the happy couple!

And by the way, Halle Berry who (in most folks eyes) is gorgeous, but had many failed relationships, is now with a hottie as well. Jen will be just fine. She is adorable and everyone needs to stop judging her “worth” based on her boyfriends or lack of. I bet over half of those that pick on her are miserable themselves.

Jennifer Connelly is to star in He’s just Not That In to You, a comedy about modern-day relationships in the U S, which will also feature Drew Barrymore, Entourage’s Kevin Connolly and Alias’s Bradley Cooper.

Connelly will portray a woman stuck in a tired marriage with Cooper, while Barrymore, who is also the film’s producer, is cast as a woman perpetually confused by dating.

The movie is based on the best selling book by the same name written by Grag Behrendt and Liz Tucillo.

The book was originally based on a conversation that occurred while Tuccillo and Behrendt were writing for HBO’s hit series Sex and the City and eventually evolved into an episode on the show.

The plot line for the film will revolve around a woman who hosts a talk show and a man she becomes involved with after he guests on the show. Filming begins in early September.

I agree with her totally that there is a lot of things one can do even if you do not appear on screen ever again. With friends and family arriving in Paris for their wedding on Saturday, Tony Parker swept Eva Longoria off for a surprise Fourth of July visit to one of the world’s most romantic sites. On Tuesday afternoon, the couple stole off from their Park Hyatt Paris-Vendome suite, heading out to the Paris Heliport to fly to a mystery destination. Their destination, in fact, was France’s picturesque Mont Saint-Michel, a 6th-century medieval citadel nestled within a large sea-fed inlet bay celebrated for its isolation and captivating views. The location is so unusual that it was classified a world heritage site by UNESCO in l979 and is France’s third most visited attraction. Hey man, the two are completely lost in love and there are having a ball out their in Paris, this is so romantic and surely an out of the world experience for Eva. This was totally Tony’s idea and he must he really enjoyed seeing the smile on her face.
