Michael Jackson Marriage Certificate Up for Auction

As time passes, more and more people are trying to cash in on Michael Jackson’s death. You can add another one to that list. The original marriage certificate which was issued to the King of Pop and Lisa Marie Presley, from when they were married in the Dominican Republic in 1994, is going up for auction in January. Phillip Weiss, who is auctioning off the paper, says “when you have an item that combines his name and legend with the Presley name and legend, their marriage certificate no less, with both of their signatures on it, you’ve got something that’s almost impossible to predict what it will bring at auction.” He’s got a valid point.

This Is It extended over Thanksgiving: Sony

This Is It will stay in cinemas over the Thanksgiving weekend.

The smash hit movie of Michael Jackson’s last weeks was initially planned for limited release over two weeks.

But distributor Sony’s chairman Jeff Blake says the movie was being rolled out in similar fashion to concert films Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best Of Both Worlds Concert Tour and Jonas Bros: The 3D Concert Experience, EW reports.

He said: “It was a process where suddenly we had a real movie with an A Cinemascore, great exit polls, good grosses and a normal DVD window. There was really no reason to pull it off the screen after two weeks.”

Not to mention the gross. The movie took in $34.4million in its first five days at the North American box office. Blake added: “We got adults. We got people who don’t normally call themselves Michael Jackson fans. Suddenly this movie was much more than a typical concert film. It was a real movie. Real movies don’t get pulled after two weeks.”

Liz Taylor Loves Michael Jackson Film

Elizabeth Taylor was able to see an advanced screening of the Michael Jackson film ‘This is It’ earlier this week and she absolutely loved it. The iconic actress went to Twitter and talked about the documentary. She wrote “It is the single most brilliant piece of filmmaking I have ever seen… I wept from pure joy at his God given gift. There will never, ever be the likes of him again. ” Elizabeth even went as far as saying that the late singer was a “modern day prophet”. I know that the King of Pop was one of kind but I won’t go as far as calling him that.

Katherine Jackson was interviewed by her daughter Latoya Jackson for Access Hollywood after the Michael Jackson tribute show on Dancing with stars. The King of Pop’s mother believed that the dancers did very well and she enjoyed attending the show. It was her first time at the show and said that she would like to come back again. The whole interview was actually cute and Katherine even got a little feisty at the end telling Latoya “Stop saying I’m shy because I’m not.” I imagine that she was like that when she talks to her late son Michael. What did you think of the tribute?

Lisa Marie Presley said her husband Michael Lockwood has helped her through her grief over Michael Jackson’s death.

Presley, 41, who was married to Jackson in 2004, told UK’s Hello! magazine: “There have been so many layers of grief in Michael’s death, so many different aspects and angles that have at times overwhelmed me, which I am still dealing with.

“I am incredibly fortunate that I have an amazing husband who has been unbelievably understanding and supportive throughout the process. He has cried with me, he has left me alone to cry if that’s what I needed.

“He has let me talk his ears off, he has listened while I talk others’ ears off, without annoyance or complaints. I have never met a more selfless and supportive person.

“That, along with the fact that I have been writing [songs] a lot and throughout, has helped.”

Michael Jackson fans will be thrilled at this piece of news. According to reports, sources are saying that there are several more never before released songs from the King of Pop. In fact, there’s almost two album worth of music from the late singer. The songs are said to have been recorded back in 2004 and insiders say that the music is even better than ‘This is It’. The songs are said to be released over time so fans of Michael still have something to look forward too. I wonder if anyone else will lay claim on the songs just like Paul Anka did with ‘This is It’.

Tito Jackson could be on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here

Tito Jackson could be one of the celebs to head to the jungle for I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

The 55-year-old older brother of Michael, who died suddenly in June, said he would love to go on the jungle show but would not like to take part in Strictly Come Dancing as he can’t dance.

He said: “David Gest is a good friend, and I went out to Australia to meet him when he came out of the jungle.

“It’s a great show. I would love to do it. I wouldn’t be worried about eating bugs.”

An ITV source said: “Getting Tito in the jungle would be a massive ratings winner. The only thing now is to try to agree a fee.”

Randy Jackson Wants to Pull Footage

Randy Jackson has spoken out on behalf of the Jackson family, saying that they’re absolutely appalled at the lengths that the media went to cover Michael Jackson’s private burial last Thursday. He said “As a family, we are all aware of how Michael’s life, and his death, touched so many around the world. It is why we held a public memorial in my brother’s honor. And it is the reason we chose to release a small amount of footage leading up to yesterday’s ceremony at Forest Lawn… We had asked the media to respect the privacy and the sanctity of this event; to give us one moment of privacy to mourn as a family out of the public spotlight. Unfortunately, despite a no-fly zone around Forest Lawn, many media organizations decided to ignore our wishes. They employed helicopters that not only surreptitiously recorded our private family ceremony, but also severely disrupted it. I therefore ask today that media organizations airing helicopter footage of the ceremony we held for my brother immediately pull that footage from their air and refrain from airing it in the future.”

Michael Jackson could not feed self before death

Michael Jackson, in the weeks before he died, could not manage to cut the food on his plate, his make-up artist claims.

Karen Faye, 53, says she witnessed the late king of pop frail and unable to attend to himself before the slated O2 UK tour.

Jackson was “killed” by the pressure of the upcoming 50-date tour and was “disoriented and sickly”, Faye said.

Faye, writing to Jackson fans on Facebook, said: “He [Jacko] was 12 to 20 pounds heavier in April than he was in June. Kenny [Ortega] was cutting his chicken and feeding it to him. This was one of my concerns. If he cannot feed himself, how could he be expected to do these shows?”

Faye said she was hired by the Jackson family to help prepare the singer’s body for its resting state after he died in June.

Speculation on Michael Jackson’s Toxicology Report

Multiple law enforcement sources are saying that the toxicology report in the Michael Jackson case shows that the King of Pop had a lethal amount of the anaesthetic Propofol in his system. However, that wasn’t the only drug that they found. It is being said that the toxicology findings show that the late singer also had alprazolam, also known as Xanax, in his system. Xanax is commonly used to treat anxiety. However, the sources also say that Propofol was “front and center in terms of why [Jackson] died.” So why have they not released the autopsy reports yet so we can all figure out how to finally move on from Michael’s case?

The court in the Michael Jackson probate case just authorized the special administrators to enter into proposed book publishing deals. The deal involves a reprint of the King of Pop’s autobiography ‘Moonwalk’ with Shaye Arehart Books for US and Canada publishing rights, Michael Lafon for publishing rights in France, Heyne for rights in Germany and Heinemann for rights in the UK. And here’s a dose of brutal honesty for you, the documents state “The Special Administrators believe that it is in the best interest of the Estate for all book publishing agreements to be entered as soon as possible, as sales of the book and profits for the estate will be maximized the sooner the book is released due to the notoriety surrounding Michael Jackson’s unexpected death and the resulting heightened demand for such products.”

It seems that Michael Jackson’s death certificate has gotten a lot of hits. LA County coroner officials are looking into the unauthorized views of the King of Pop’s death certificate. Chief coroner investigator Craig Harvey said “There’s only one person in the investigation of Mr. Jackson who needed to have a copy of the death certificate, and that was the investigator.” In the 2 weeks after the singer’s death, the certificate received over 300 views on the restricted Electronic Death Registration System. Harvey learned about the breached files when he received a tip accusing a funeral home employee of creating a fake death certificate for the singer in the computer system. He failed to discover the fraudulent certificate but learned the names of coroner’s employees who viewed the document inappropriately.

Elizabeth Taylor home from hospital, issues touching tweets

Elizabeth Taylor has again moved to snuff out rumours that she was hospitalised over her grief for the loss of longtime friend Michael Jackson.

Taking to Twitter, Taylor, 77, informed her fans directly that she is once again home from hospital – and a routine test that was begun on a prior hospital visit.

“I’m home from the hospital sore, but intact. Of course I’m still grieving for Michael… I always will,” she tweeted.

She told fans she was going into hospital to “complete a test I was in the middle of”.

Taylor offered some wisdom, saying: “I’ve had many tragedies in my life, but I guess they have all taught me something. I have to look at it that way.”

3 Search Warrants Issued for Michael Jackson Investigation

Three search warrants have recently been issued by the LAPD to come to a solid conclusion regarding the cause of Michael Jackson’s sudden passing. Although Los Angeles police have sealed the investigation, five doctors responsible for supplying and/or prescribing the late singer with medicine are known to be under investigation. It would be safe to assume that the detectives want to figure out who prescribed the King of Pop the numerous bottles of the heavy duty sedative Diprivan, all without prescription labels. One, or possibly more, of those doctors may be in a world of trouble. If they had a conscience, they would speak up.

Quincy Jones: Michael Didn’t Want to be Black

Quincy Jones knew Michael Jackson better than anyone, even saying that their souls were joined. But now, the record producer is speaking out about the singer’s death as well as some of the late King of Pop’s issues. In an interview with Details magazine, Quincy said that Michael never accepted his race. Quincy was quoted in saying “It’s ridiculous, man! Chemical peels and all of it. And I don’t understand it. But he obviously didn’t want to be black … You see his kids?” If you go back in the archives of Michael’s interviews, he denied having undergone and cosmetic procedures to whiten his skin but instead said that he suffered from a skin disease that makes the skin turn white.
