Benji Madden has written a love song for Paris Hilton.

The Good Charlotte rocker penned ‘Shine Your Light’ in tribute to his girlfriend, who he has been dating for two months. Describing it as the ’sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me’, Paris revealed: “He actually wrote me a beautiful song, and recorded it in the studio. He surprised me with it. It’s this really beautiful love song about me.’

The 27-year-old socialite has also revealed being with Benji has totally changed her life. She explained: “He’s just different from any guy that I’ve ever been with. I trust him completely, and I know that he’d be there for me, no matter what. My life’s a lot different now, I’m very much at peace, and I’m so happy, and in control, and so very excited about life.”

Benji’s brother Joel is dating Paris’ best friend Nicole Richie. The couple have a three-month-old daughter, Harlow Winter.

We all know that celebrities can be just like regular people and love some karaoke. A couple of stars proved just that for Ellen DeGeneres’ 50th birthday celebration on Friday. The talk show host’s birthday was actually on Saturday, so, Happy Birthday Ellen!.

Stars on the video sang to the tune of Gloria Gaynor’s ‘I Will Survive’. Jake Gyllenhaal did a little lip synching and booty-shaking to it. Other celebrities who joined in on the fun were Victoria Beckham, Queen Latifah, Kate Walsh, Jamie Foxx, Paris Hilton, Sharon Osbourne, David Spade, Heidi Klum, Masi Oka and Celine Dion. It’s quite a funny clip.

Paris Hilton has an adult and child clothes line at Kitson in Los Angeles. In the past you’ve seen celebrities leave that store but now that Paris is selling her overpriced ugly clothes there, I’m guessing the good celebrities will boycott. Just coz is she a celebrity doesn’t mean she can design clothes and put them up for sale, only the weirdest and most insane people would be looking to wear a Paris Hilton signature T-shirt. Or people are filthy rich live in remote countries where they simply would take Paris as the name of the French capital – Paris as something that’s really extraordinary would look to buy her creations. As for Paris who promised so much about doing some good charity work, well now we can understand her meaning of charity – it is to make money which ever way she can to support her drug addiction and other nuisances that we have all come to accept is just an inseparable part of her way of life and being a inconsequential celebrity.

Paris Hilton’s parents visit

Paris Hilton’s parents visited her in jail for the first time.
The hotel heiress spoke to her worried mother and father, Kathy and Rick, through a glass shield at Los Angeles’ Twin Towers Correctional Facility.
She told them she was suffering from the cold and lack of sleep, but assured them she had got her appetite back and had eaten cereal that morning.
Emerging from their 30-minute visit, Kathy said: “It’s tough in there. It’s cold and she hasn’t had much sleep.”
Rick added it was “just good to see” his daughter, who is currently serving her 45-day sentence for driving with a suspended license on the facility’s medical ward.
Kathy insisted that despite the circumstances Paris “was very happy” saying: “She wants to just do her time and get on with it.”
Meanwhile, it has been revealed the 26-year-old socialite has been dropped by her talent agency.
Endeavor representative Michael Donkis simply stated: “Paris is no longer a client.”
The company would not divulge the reasons behind the move, which was announced in an email circulated around the agency last Friday (08.06.07) - the day a judge overruled a decision to prematurely release Paris and sent her back to jail.
The Beverly Hills-based agency had represented “The Simple Life” star since 2005.

Jamie Lee Curtis has a swape to Paris

When things are not going your way, the world will sit up and make all those negative comments about you so as to derive so kinda publicity from your downfall on bad times. NowAdd another voice to the chorus weighing in on Paris Hilton’s latest travails: Jamie Lee Curtis. Well Curtis is right in telling that today’s young people are not taught the rules of life at an early age but ask her if she is teaching her kids the rights and wrongs of life. When kids are grown up they perform acts by themselves and should learn to take responsibilities. But she says today’s celebs are lacking guidance: “The sad paths of the three most popular young women” – Hilton and, presumably, Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears – “have ended in prison, rehab and mental illness. I hope their mothers are worried sick and wondering, ‘What could I have done differently?’ And our culture should be asking the same question too.” They are still young and hopefully these incidents will make them learn the dos and don’t of life and law.

Paris Hilton ordered back to jail

For a few hours on Friday (June 8), it looked like Paris Hilton wasn’t even going to show up for a hearing to determine whether she would be sent back to jail. And then, when she finally did make it to the courthouse, she probably wished she hadn’t.
Judge Michael Sauer ordered Hilton back to jail, to serve out “the remainder of her sentence” after a brief hearing, despite her lawyer’s pleas that a return would be “dangerous” to the heiress.
According to several media outlets, after the decision was read, Hilton screamed out, “It’s not right” and was escorted from the courthouse, in tears, by two deputies, one holding each of her arms. AP reported Hilton cried out to her mother, Kathy, who embraced her husband, Rick, and sobbed. Hilton reportedly looked back at her parents several times, as she was led out of the courtroom. Before Sauer handed down his order, Hilton repeatedly turned to her parents and mouthed the words “I love you”.
Several of Hilton’s supporters gathered outside the courthouse to show their support, and according to AP, most seemed devastated by the news. One of them, a man identified as Chino, California, resident Jake Byrd, cried out “No! No! No!” as a court spokesman informed a horde of reporters outside of Sauer’s ruling.
Hilton served three days at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood. She was admitted to the facility to begin serving her sentence for violating probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case directly after attending the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night.
Her original 45-day sentence had been reduced to 23 for various reasons, including good behavior, but part of the reassignment included reinstating the original sentence.
Hilton was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated in September and pleaded no contest in January. She was sentenced to three years’ probation and her license was suspended. The following month, she was caught driving with the suspended license, which was ruled a probation violation.

Hilton leaves jail early for home lock up

After only three days behind bars, Paris Hilton traded a 12-by-8-foot cell for her 2,700-square-foot Hollywood Hills home when she was released early Thursday because of an unspecified medical condition.

Hilton was to be under home confinement, wearing an electronic monitoring ankle bracelet, for the remaining 40 days of her sentence for violating probation in a reckless driving case.

The celebrity inmate was sent home from the L.A. County jail’s Lynwood lockup shortly after 2 a.m. in a stunning reduction to her original 45-day sentence.

No details were available on the nature of Hilton’s medical condition. Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore refused to answer questions about whether it was physical or psychological. Hilton’s lawyer and publicist did not return calls seeking comment.paris-hilton2.JPG

“I can’t specifically talk about the medical situation other than to say that yes, it played a part in this”, Whitmore said at an early morning news conference outside the jail.

The decision to release Hilton was made by Sheriff Lee Baca, according to the Probation Department. A deputy at the sheriff’s information bureau said there would be no comment.

Hilton was housed in the “special needs” unit of the 13-year-old jail, separate from most of its 2,200 inmates. The unit contains 12 two-person cells reserved for police officers, public officials, celebrities and other high-profile inmates. Hilton didn’t have a cellmate.

Like other inmates in the special-needs area, Hilton took meals in her cell and was allowed outside for at least an hour each day to shower, watch TV in the day room, participate in outdoor recreation or talk on the telephone.

The 26-year-old hotel heiress’ path to jail began Sept. 7, when she failed a sobriety test after police saw her weaving down a Hollywood street in her Mercedes. She pleaded no contest to reckless driving and was sentenced to 36 months’ probation, alcohol education and $1,500 in fines.

On Jan. 15, she was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol. Informed that her license was suspended, Hilton signed a document acknowledging she was not to drive. Then, on Feb. 27, she was pulled over a third time, which led to her three-day incarceration.

Her new lockup is a four-bedroom, three-bathroom, Spanish-style home on .14 acres above the Sunset Strip.

Paris Hilton parties before prison

Paris Hilton’s friends have thrown her a party to wish her luck in prison.
The hotel heiress is expected to enter prison on June 5 to serve her 23-day sentence for driving with suspended license and her friends have been around her to keep her spirits up before she goes there.
Childhood friend Caroline D’Amore said: “We had a little party at her house the other night. We all went round to be there for her. She has high hopes.”
D’Amore also says that at Nicole Richie’s infamous Memorial Day barbecue: “We all watched the first episode of the new season of ‘The Simple Life’, which was really cute.”
Another friend of Paris on the contrary says she is very scared of the impending imprisonment
of the hotel heiress.
She tells in an interview for People magazine: “She breaks down crying a lot because she just can’t deal with the reality and pressure of everything that is happening. he really can’t take how most people around her have scattered and distanced themselves.”
Paris has decided to drop her appeal against the sentence and will hand herself into California’s Century Regional Detention Facility in just a few days.
The blond will serve her time on the special needs wing of the prison for her own protection.
Her cell mate - a reckless driving convict - has been handpicked as the person least likely to try and cash-in on Paris.
Most people don’t believe that Paris would serve her whole sentence but only the time will show what will happen.

Paris Hilton may not serve full sentence

Paris Hilton may not serve full sentence

Paris Hilton may spend far less than 45 days in county jail for violating probation because of state policies and jail overcrowding, authorities said Thursday.
Hilton, sentenced last week to do the time, could spend three weeks or less behind bars because of a state requirement that grants inmates time off for good behavior and because of overcrowding in the system, Los Angeles County sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said. “It’s possible that it could be 21 days, 23 days. It’s a complicated formula that the state sets down. It’s possible that she could do less time,” Whitmore told The Associated Press.
As for overcrowding, “our jail is bursting at the seams” and some women inmates have been released after serving only 10 percent of their sentence, Whitmore said.
Last year, “Lost” actress Michelle Rodriguez was sentenced to 60 days in jail for violating probation after her drunken driving arrest in Hawaii. She was released in hours because of overcrowding.
Hilton’s time will be determined when she is booked into the county system, Whitmore said. She will not receive any favors because she is a celebrity, he added. “She will be treated like any other inmate who’s classified as a low-level security risk,” Whitmore told the Los Angeles Times, which first reported the development on its Web site.
Hilton, 26, was sentenced last week for violating the terms of her probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case. A judge ordered her to report to the women’s jail in Lynwood by June 5.
Hilton intends to appeal and her fans have posted a petition on the Internet urging Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to pardon her.
