Yeah, umm, before you make a statement to the press, you might want to be sure you’re on the same page as to what your story is.

Former New Jersey governor Jim McGreevey and his ex Dina Matos McGreevey have been accused by a former driver of having a threesome with him. Teddy Pederson says the then-gov and his then-wife would have consensual threesomes with him.

She says the rumors are “completely false and were prompted by Jim McGreevey.” He says, “This happened, this happened in the past, and now we need to move on with our lives.”

Obama’s Grammy Win Over Clinton

This time it was Barak Obama and Bill Clinton. And this time it was for a Grammy award and not for the presidency.

Obama won a Grammy for best spoken word album for his book The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream. He beat out former presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter as well as Alan Alda and Maya Angelou.

Cher on the Presidents

Now that Cher is getting ready for a comeback, we need to prepare for her commenting on other worldly stuff as well. She recently spoke to TV’s Extra about her thoughts on the presidential candidates and pretty much said who she’s rooting for.

She said “I like Hillary. I think she’d make the best president. I think [Barack]’s a good man. I think he’s altruistic. I think he’s smart. I think at some point he can be a great leader. I just don’t think it’s now.” What do you think? Is Cher a good judge of character or just being a feminist?

Ellen Gets Jenna Bush to Call Home

It isn’t every day that you can get the President of the United States on the line. But that’s just what Ellen did when she had Jenna Bush as a guest on her Wednesday show. The show was actually taped on Tuesday.Ellen prodded Jenna into calling her parents live from the show taping. She asked if Jenna could get her parents on the phone at any time. Jenna responded that she usually called in the morning or evening when she knew they would both be home.

Carefully covering the phone so no one can see the private number, Jenna finally agrees to call her parents. She jokingly says, “I’m not going to get anything I asked for for Christmas.”

Jenna finally gets through to First Lady Laura Bush. After talking to her for a moment, Jenna gets to talk to her father. The President comes to the phone, and his daughter says, “This is the Ellen Degeneres Show”.

Though surprised, he willingly talks to them both.

Kim Cattrall Begs Nephew Not To Go To war

Actress Kim Cattrall is begging her 18-year-old nephew not to sign up for service in Iraq - because her role in British wartime drama My Boy Jack has made her more aware of dangers in the battlefield. I understand Cattrall not wanting her nephew to enlist and go Iraq. There are American’s that favor or oppose the war in Iraq. A friend enlisted in the USMC with a desire to fight in battle knowing he could lose his life, but his plans got changed. I support the war and I’m proud that Cattrall’s nephew has that desire to go to the battlefield and fight for our country, but only Christ knows if this is meant for him. Cattrall’s nephew has to find out if the military will accept him due to his bad vision. First of all, this kid must be out of his mind. Fighting for America, Freedom, or the betterment of mankind are all worthy goals but Iraq doesn’t fit any of those.

Oprah’s Sorry

Oprah’s money is hers to do with as she chooses. She trusted individuals to help her improve children’s lives (Does it really matter where the children were born?) and a couple of workers actually hurt the kids. She is upset. Give her a break. As far as the US goes, how many billions of our dollars, and our children’s dollars, have been spent in Iraq? We as a nation won’t even give health care to children of parents who can’t afford health insurance. Since our soldiers in Iraq can’t react to being attacked without concern for the innocent people happen to be nearby, our future tax dollars are used to pay companies like Blackwater to “protect” some individuals. If you see a need, take action have your legislators channel government funds to the right place. We are spending billions, and billions, and billions of taxpayer funds outside the US, not just a couple of million on a school. Oprah’s money is hers to do with as she pleases! Don’t put her down for trying to help others.

Fred Thompson’s Presidential Hopes Are Ridiculed

Veteran Hollywood actor Fred Thompson’s hopes of contending in the 2008 presidential election have been dashed after his campaign was savaged by critics. All of America, you were not only stupid enough to vote for GWB twice but are stupid enough to admit it now after the whole world knows what a total mess he’s made of everything he’s come in contact with. I’d elaborate but I’m limited to 1500 characters. Thompson is alright except that he’s a Republican. I don’t know why people hate Hillary like they do. If she kicks half as much X@@##! As Bill did as president maybe we can return to the good old days of peace and prosperity. More so anyone who wishes to be the President of this great country should have to things in mind, one that the security of this country and it’s people should be on the top of his agenda and second that he should not be calling for war on Iran or some other country just in the name of security.

Angelina Jolie got emotional yesterday as she spoke at the Clinton Global Initiative event. Angie and Brad highlighted education and conservation issues at the event. I’m sure Brad and Angie being there and supporting Clinton was the reason Bill Clinton was sporting that huge smile. Angelina Jolie is an Oscar winner, and LEGEND at only 32, she is the Most Beautiful Woman in the World, a UN Ambassador, TIME Magazine’s Most Influential person and Humanitarian, She saves lives n the third world through her charitable giving and her foundations lift people out of poverty, she has even passed bills signed by the President, she is Passionately Loved and Adored by Brad Pitt, and is the mother of his babies….she is rumored to be pregnant now…There many people who can claim to be important but still in this rocket science and nuclear weapons age what still matter to half of the world’s population is their next meal and where is it going to come from. Give a thought for these hunger epidemic guys!

Denise seems to keep having a problem with Sheen

Charlie Sheen is no angel, but neither is Denise. I would squawk too, if I had to have HER employees be the ones supervising my visitation with my kids. I don’t know where a judge got the idea that would work. It should always be a third party that has no interest in anything but the kid’s. That is why they usually appoint a guardian ad item in custody cases - so the kids have a lawyer that is supposedly only involved in their best interests - not the rest of the divorce issues. If she is paying them - they are going to say what she wants. And what makes a nanny qualified to supervise anyway…is she a psychologist that can tell if someone is manipulative or using words that are damaging. We went through a custody battle because of an ex spouse who’s words seemed innocent enough, until someone realized the psychological games that were being played - to the extent that one of the kids tried to commit suicide. Who is supervising Denise and what she does with the girls?

Germany has banned Scientologist Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise, 44, is unwelcome for location filming at Germany’s military headquarters in Berlin because of his advocacy of Scientology, a German politician said Friday. The US actor-director is reportedly planning a movie about the July 20, 1944 attempt to assassinate Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler, who survived the blast bloodied but not seriously injured.

The German defence ministry said Cruise has “publicly professed to being a member of the Scientology cult”. Scientology masquerades as a religion to make money, Germany said, but leaders of the church reject this. Cruise’s producing partner Paula Wagner said the star’s own convictions had no relation to the film’s content. “Personal beliefs have absolutely no bearing on the movie’s plot or themes,” she said.

Cruise is arguably Hollywood’s most outspoken member of the Church of Scientology. He became involved with Scientology in 1990 through his first wife, Mimi Rogers. Cruise has publicly said that Scientology, specifically the L. Ron Hubbard Scientology Study Tech, helped him overcome his dyslexia. However, according to former Scientology Sea Org member Jesse Prince, Cruise

Diaz apologizes for Maoist slogan

Diaz was in Peru to record a TV programme about local culture .Actress Cameron Diaz has apologised for carrying a bag in Peru which featured a political slogan likely to be considered offensive by local people.
The Shrek star visited the historical Machu Picchu site with a green bag which had a red star and the words “serve the people” printed in Chinese.

It evoked memories of a Peruvian war against Maoist rebels in the 1980s and ’90s, when up to 69,000 people died.

Diaz admitted she did not realise the slogan’s “potentially hurtful nature”.

“I sincerely apologise to anyone I may have inadvertently offended,” she said in a statement released to the Associated Press.

“The bag was a purchase I made as a tourist in China.”

She said: “I’m sorry for any people’s pain and suffering, and it was certainly never my intention to reopen what I now know is a painful wound in this country’s history.”
