Britney Spears splashed out on a private jet to party at her sister’s baby shower - but appeared to have skimped on the pennies by buying gifts from bargain shop Walmart.

The multi-millionairess shunned public transport on a home visit back to Kentwood by boarding the luxury plane at a private airport in Mississippi with mum Lynne and dad Jamie.

Dressed in cutesy pink shorts and a stripey t-shirt from Abercrombie and Fitch, Brit looked young and fresh-faced again.

Let’s hope her carbon footprint was worth it and she had more treats for Jaime Lynn on the plane.

Unlike Jessica Alba, Christina Aguilera is one very proud Latina – which is probably why the petite singer was chosen to be one of the cover girls for People en Español’s 50 Most Beautiful 2008 issue. When asked about what she thought of Latin culture, Christina said that she absolutely loves it and that it’s something that she wants to instill in her son. That’s something we all know that Jessica Alba won’t do. If anything, she’ll tell her kid that they don’t have any Latino blood at all! Why can’t all Latinos be like Christina and Fergie. Heck! Fergie’s Latina blood only comes from her father’s grandmother and she’s still proud of it!

Toni Braxton was rushed to the hospital last week when she was having trouble breathing after performing at Flamingo. And it seems that the case was more serious than expected and that Toni might not be returning to the Las Vegas Strip to perform any time soon – at least not for another month. The Flamingo Las Vegas President Don Marrandino said that Toni’s Tuesday to Saturday scheduled shows are now off and that she’s going to take advantage of a previously scheduled two week break that she had planned. They are offering refunds for the canceled shows though. Toni is set to return to the stage on May 6, a Tuesday. I hope you start feeling better Toni!

Staffers at Parents magazine are peeved at the People magazine spread on Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s newborn twins. The people at Parents magazine posted an open memo to the Latina singer citing numerous baby safety hazards – namely suffocation hazards in the form of the canopies and bows on and around the cribs. However, Kimberlee Mitchell, owner and founder of child safety company Boo Boo Busters, says that JLo hasn’t really done anything wrong. Kimberlee explains by saying “When your baby starts sitting up, at around six months or so, that’s when you remove any canopies or mobiles.” The twins are barely a month old.

Serial bride Patsy Kensit has split from fiancé Jeremy Healy – the man she planned to make her fourth pop hubby.

The Holby City actress, 40, was due to wed DJ Jeremy, 46 – one of house music’s top names – in the summer.

Last night a friend of Jeremy’s said it was the DJ who ended the eight-month romance with mum-of-two Patsy. The pal said: “As the wedding became a reality, I just don’t think he could go through with such a commitment. Patsy must be gutted – she surely thought she’d found the one this time.”

The pair first met when Patsy was 16 and in 1980s band Eighth Wonder. Jeremy was in Haysifantayzee, who had a 1983 hit with John Wayne Is Big Leggy.

The couple fell in love last August, after bumping into each other at a party.

Ex-Emmerdale star Patsy’s three failed marriages have all been to musicians.

She wed Dan Donovan of Big Audio Dynamite in 1988. They split in 1991.

In 1992, she married Jim Kerr of Simple Minds, dad to her son James, and in 1997 she wed Oasis singer Liam Gallagher. They had a son Lennon and split in 2000.

Patsy had reportedly asked film star friend Liz Hurley to be bridesmaid. The pal added: “She must be devastated.”

Ok, so there’s no confirmation from her camp yet, but judging from these pics, it’s either a baby or an abnormally large tumor. Either way, she should get that checked out.

Fergie and her fiance Josh Duhamel headed out for dinner at Hana Sushi in Santa Monica on Tuesday. She was most definitely a little thick around the middle, but they aren’t giving up any baby secrets yet.

Lisa Marie Presley is still fuming about the media commenting on her growing physique that she is actually suing! Elvis’ daughter is actually planning to take several publications to court for calling her fat. But don’t take that for granted because that’s not all that was said. Publications also made claims that she had an “unhealthy appetite” and is “growing like her dad”. Her lawyer has commented about the lawsuit plans saying that such allegations have left the star “deeply upset and offended”. Her spokeswoman Cindy Guagenti recently spoke to the AP recounting the stories that have been printed saying “It’s like, ’she’s gonna die like her father’, ‘her and her mom are in a fight because of her weight’ - that’s not true at all. It’s just awful stuff.” Yeah, but a lawsuit? Can’t she just wave it off?

It’s been kinda nice to see him out of the picture. No nasty stories about him; no seeing him tag along with Britney. But, he’s back.

Well, not really. So his name is out there today - cops for the LAPD say they are not out to arrest Sam Lufti. Despite rumors that they want him on charges of allegedly drugging Britney, they say that’s not true. They say there is no investigation of that sort.

Sam’s spokesperson Michael Sands says, “Internet tabloid gossip Web sites need to stop reporting bogus stories without knowing the truth. They need to stop brainwashing the public.”

Amy Winehouse’s jailbird husband Blake Fielder-Civil will be spitting porridge when he hears about this.

The Rehab singer was all over Blake Wood at fashion designer Andrew Buckler’s party at trendy East London club Shoreditch House. On a night of lavish bashes on both sides of the capital, stars flocked to the West for the Elle Style Awards bash in Notting Hill or East for the London Fashion Week party on Tuesday.

Amy headed to the East End for her first big night out since leaving rehab last week and new Blake didn’t leave her side. One witness said they looked like a loved-up young couple and Blake couldn’t keep his eyes off her.

The source said: “Blake held her bag all night and was snuggled up behind her when she was in the DJ booth, putting his arms around her waist. When a romantic song came on she came out of the booth and slow danced with him. They were gazing into each other’s eyes. They were very openly tactile. Amy has calmed her worried hubby by telling him new Blake is gay; despite his Facebook page saying he is into both men and women. She has a habit of dropping Blake’s name into her live shows and will probably still do so at next week’s Brits.

Now that Cher is getting ready for a comeback, we need to prepare for her commenting on other worldly stuff as well. She recently spoke to TV’s Extra about her thoughts on the presidential candidates and pretty much said who she’s rooting for.

She said “I like Hillary. I think she’d make the best president. I think [Barack]’s a good man. I think he’s altruistic. I think he’s smart. I think at some point he can be a great leader. I just don’t think it’s now.” What do you think? Is Cher a good judge of character or just being a feminist?

cheryl Burke is a two time champion on Dancing with the Stars. Matthew Lawrence is the cute younger brother of Joey Lawrence. They have called it quits after a year.

Ok I know the world and his wife are probably sick to the back teeth of the Britney Spears and Adnan Ghalib saga. I know I pretty much am. However the man just keeps pushing to the point where you can’t help but comment on it.

Just a month into their relationship, Adnan claims to ‘risk’ Britney never speaking to him again to allegedly clear his name. In reality what he is doing is creating more scandal, and money-making opportunities, by lifting the lid on their affair and telling all to two US TV shows.

Whilst refuting claims he’s trying to sell pictures of Britney, the snapper went as far as to compare them to tragic couple Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed and claiming that the star wants to have a baby with him after being banned from seeing her own kids. He also played private voicemail messages from Britney.

He insisted he is speaking out merely to clear his name and slammed reports he is exploiting Britney to rake in cash, denying he made any financial gain from the interviews. But he admitted it could mean the fallen starlet never speaks to him again, and shatter his dreams of marrying her. Adnan also slammed critics who have questioned his relationship with the chart-topper, saying they do not want her to find true happiness, “Whatever it takes. Scandal sells”.

At 81 years old, is he finally ready to be a daddy…again? Sources say Hugh Hefner was spotted accompanying 28 year old girlfriend Holly Madison to her gynecologist’s office. The doctor specializes in in vitro fertilization.

The Playboy founder already has four children with two former wives. Holly has let it be known that she would like to have children with Hef. She says, “I want to have kids with Hef in the next year or so. When that happens, I just want it to be me and him.” Right now they share the mansion with his two other girlfriends, Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt.

It was rumored that she might already be pregnant with his child when the group recently went to Monaco. While on the trip, Holly shied away from alcohol and wore outfits that were abnormally concealing. Her rep says, “Holly is not pregnant, although she would like to be in the near future.”

Jessica Simpson is being blamed for her boyfriend Tony Romo’s less than impressive last few games with the Dallas Cowboys and someone thinks that it’s just not fair. Surprisingly enough, it’s Jessica’s ex John Mayer who comes to her defense. The sensitive yet cocky rocker posted a blog on his website defending Jess entitled “Don’t Ex with Texas”.

Anyway, enough speculation. The next candidate for celebrity pregnancy seems to be Hollywood star Nicole Kidman. Though nothing is confirmed, the Golden Compass beauty was snapped sporting what looked like a small bump as she strolled happily along in Sydney with husband Keith Urban.

The 40-year old has two adopted children with ex-husband Tom Cruise, but sadly has experienced both an ectopic pregnancy and a miscarriage in the past. Enough heartache for anyone to handle. So Nicole if it’s true we congratulate you and wish you all the luck in the world.

Do you remember the pivoting moment that changed you from an innocent child that believed in Father Christmas to a cynical adult who looks at Christmas as an expensive and stressful time of year? Well actress Halle Berry certainly does.

The stunning Catwoman star discovered Santa wasn’t real by catching her mother eating the cookies; cookies that she had baked herself with the tubby legend in mind.

Halle said: “The day I saw my mum eating the Santa cookies on the plate was one of the most horrific days of my life. I never let her forget it. I had at least three more good years that I could have believed had she not been so careless.”

So mothers and fathers beware…the kids will hold a grudge if you are too careless.

Christina Aguilera has a lot to celebrate about. On Tuesday, the singer celebrated her birthday with her husband Jordan Bratman in West Hollywood. They were spotted just as they were leaving Houston’s restaurant where they celebrated with friends.Come January 10, 2008, the 27-year old Christina will have more to celebrate when she gives birth via C-section. She’s reportedly narrowed down the names for her baby boy to Jackson, Jake or Max. She’s also requested an enlarged version of her November cover of Marie Claire which has her nude and showing off her baby bump. That’s a very high-end memento.

Any of my readers already know that I get a bid fed up with reporting stars’ drug, violence or alcohol issues, and get really pleased when I can tell you all about weddings, births and engagements. Well, this is me really happy…announcing yet another engagement in the star struck world.

Despite conflicting claims that she had turned down the proposal, Delta Goodrem has accepted the offer of being “his lawful wedded wife” from former Westlife singer, Brian McFadden. Original news had claimed she said she felt too young to settle down, but the couple are eager to quell these rumours; proud to announce their forthcoming nuptials.

Big congratulations to the happy couple, I love it when cheerful news is afloat. We await eagerly more news of the wedding.

Sometimes I wish Jennifer Aniston could just find a guy and get married so all these rumors of her dating everyone in Hollywood can stop. If in case Jennifer is with him kudos to her. He is beautiful. Hopefully she is having fun with that! If she’s not, no big deal. But let’s get something straight - Brad Pitt in the looks dept. never held a candle to this guy. Pitt at best, was little boy cute. This guy looks like a hot, handsome MAN. Also - Jolie ended up on that millionaire dating site as well. It doesn’t mean crap. If Jolie is on it then lets all assume her and Brad broke up. Don’t be gullible. And by the way, Halle Berry who (in most folks eyes) is gorgeous, but had many failed relationships, is now with a hottie as well. Jen will be just fine. She is adorable and everyone needs to stop judging her “worth” based on her boyfriends or lack of. I bet over half of those that pick on her are miserable themselves.

The singer who’s rumored to be around six months pregnant was seen as she was about to leave a doctor’s office.

It’s being passed around that she and her husband Jordan are expecting a boy for their first child. If having guests from her baby shower showing up bringing blue and boy-themed gifts were any clue, it’s not just a rumor. She’s also reportedly planning to have two more baby showers. Why, not enough gifts from the first one?

Man these rumors just don’t stop, do they? Pop singer Pink and her motocross husband Carey Hart are facing more rumors that they are facing marital problems and possibly divorce. Well, if she agreed to the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy, then what’s the big deal and why would she divorce him? It doesn’t make sense. However, quite some time ago I read an interview she did where she talked about sex. I got the impression she could live without it. She also thinks that oral sex is disgusting. So who knows what, or doesn’t, go on behind their closed doors. Time will tell I guess. I wouldn’t be with someone who slept with other people, especially if I was famous! She’s got her own cash so why doesn’t she just chalk it all up to a mistake and MOVE ON?! Everyone is saying that Carey Hart is just way too good for her and blah, blah, blah. If he’s cheating, how does that make him too good for her?

Warning: I’m about to say something nice. It’s pretty refreshing to see someone who isn’t trying to look like she’s 20 years younger than she is, which makes her, in my opinion, far more attractive and sexy than if she was botoxed, cut, lifted, collagened and siliconed to the point of looking like a mannequin as so many other celebrities are these days. Liz knows how to dress appropriately for her age and emphasize her positive attributes. She looks confident and comfortable in her own skin … as if (Gasp!) she likes herself as she is. I think that’s a great thing when so many other celebrities are artificially trying to achieve flawless, youthful appearances. Liz isn’t perfect, but she’s pretty damn hot. Anybody else find it tacky that she is at an event for boob cancer and is flaunting her own droopiest?? It’s like flaunting her own goods when a lot of women have double mastectomies. It’s a bit cruel and insensitive

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have denied reports their adopted daughter Zahara is in need of hip surgery, insisting the news is “not true.” If any of your children are hurt or need things we would all give it to them! Even we working collar people care for our children as much anyone rich person would in this world. I’d give my life for my kids! There is a headline, but I bet it won’t make it past the rich famous parents getting their child a hip surgery. Why do the media create such a hoophoola (noise) over some celebrity child needing medical attention? Ask the chap and the editor of the paper or magazine that published this article, if ever their child would have a medical emergency and people in the neighborhood starting gossiping about how fragile your kids looks and say that she might not be able to recover from this disease etc, then what would you guys feel like. Have some apathy for the sufferers and let their parent do what’s best for them.

Marc Jacobs is considered the bellwether designer of American fashion. So, what’s the outlook for next spring? Um, a lot of lingerie?

Jacobs presented his spring collection late Monday night to a packed crowd that had been waiting in the Lexington Avenue Armory for two hours. (Celebrities such as Victoria Beckham and Sheryl Crow didn’t wait quite as long they seemed to know to show up “fashionably late.”)

But it looked like he could have used a little more time. Models were wearing what Jacobs called “scrap tops” and “one-half gowns” clothes that one presumes were left unfinished to make an ironic statement thus, giving the audience plenty of glimpses of their silk, satin and crepe bras, slips and tap pants.

On their own, individual elements of the outfits, such as a black lace cape or a moire sleeveless trench coat, were very attractive, but wearable clothes wasn’t the point here. Surely some of the stylists, retailers, editors and fashion fans went home shaking their heads. Jacobs, however, definitely had a plan.

The entire show was staged backward, beginning with his bow, then the finale and then running through the looks, starting with No. 56 and ending with No. 1, a denim cape and sequined gown. Some of the shoes had had heels built sideways into the uppers, while others skimmed so low on the heel they looked too small for the models even though they actually fit just fine.

It was almost surprising that Jacobs did indeed turn out clothes appropriate for warmer weather instead of parkas and cozy sweaters.

Quick, can you name the only actor who has appeared in both “A Clockwork Orange” and the “Mr. Magoo” movie; played David Cassidy’s dad in a TV biopic and Mr. Roarke in a “Fantasy Island” remake. Maybe you’re beginning to appreciate Malcolm McDowell, the Hollywood veteran who recently added roles as the boss man on “Heroes” and the new Dr. Loomis in “Halloween” to his stunningly eclectic resume. Some people are so lucky to have done some of the most amazing movies and yet there are not so much heard of and written about. Now this is what I would call a truly charismatic personality, he just goes about his work with such grace and has proved that celebs of today have fallen prey to media attention rahter than doing some good clean acting. But there are more and more sequels that are being made today than ever before and more and more of remakes of past hits. Hopefully. I hope I’m not around to see the remake of “A Clockwork Orange.” He said.

David Hasselhoff accepted “substantial” libel damages from celebrity magazine OK! on Friday over reports he was drunk and abusive at a Los Angeles nightclub after winning a custody battle for his daughters.

The award of damages at London’s High Court was against OK! publisher Northern & Shell Plc and Northern & Shell North America Ltd, which publishes OK! Weekly magazine.

The court heard that in July, OK! ran an item which alleged he had been “off his face” and “abusive” at the night club.

On the previous day OK! Weekly published a story headed “Hasselhoff Celebrates Custody Win” which alleged he “drank champagne like it was water” from midnight until 2.00 a.m.

“The truth is that the allegations are entirely false,” said Hasselhoff’s lawyer Simon Smith.

Both publications have agreed to print an apology, pay “substantial damages” and reimburse the 55-year-old former Baywatch star’s legal costs.

In a statement issued outside the court afterwards, Hasselhoff said: “While this should not have happened in the first place I am very pleased with the outcome of this case.

“In the past whenever false reports about me have surfaced I have done my best to ignore them. However, due to the completely false allegations published by OK! magazine and others I was encouraged this time by my children to take a stand.”

Hasselhoff is now a judge on the television contest show “America’s Got Talent.” He divorced his wife, Pamela Bach, 43, in August 2006. They have battled for custody of daughters Taylor Ann, 17, and Hayley, 14.

I’m glad to hear about this actually, since there are more and more really gorgeous models coming from Africa. But they should get their due and not be made scrape goats by others who just have the intention of exploiting them and doing no good for them for their own benefits.

MODEL and former jailbird Michelle Leslie has split from her boyfriend, Holden heir Scott Sutton. Mr Sutton, who will inherit a $220 million car dealership empire, was one of Ms Leslie’s strongest supporters during her drug ordeal in Bali. The break-up is the latest blow for the model, who was just starting to find success with her dog clothing business after struggling to find modelling work in the two years after her conviction for ecstasy possession in 2005. Seems the best a model can do after retirement is be a successful dog cloth designer, may be she treated her previous boy friends as good as she treats she dogs, the men couldn’t visualize her spending quality time with her dogs so her couldn’t keep a boyfriend for long.
