Tom and Katie were spotted at Wolfgang Puck’s Cut steakhouse with Forest and Keisha Whitaker. Tom co-starred with Forest in 1986 in The Color of Money.

Friends and colleagues of Heath Ledger met on the Sony lot Saturday for yet another memorial service for the actor who died suddenly.
Those in attendance included Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise, Sienna Miller, Ellen DeGeneres, and Shannyn Sossamon. The ceremony was closed to the public. This one came after friends and family members had held a smaller service at a cemetary in Los Angeles.

Take a look at world history and I’m sure you’ll be surprised how many have died for their beliefs. He may be a little quirky, but I think everyone has there own quirks that other people think are strange. That is what is supposed to make our country so diverse. As for the movie, I would like to see it. Anyone who tried to assassinate Hitler has to have a good story behind him. I am a big tom cruise fan, have been since the 80’s. And I am also glad the scum that tried to extort money from him is getting his just rewards. What a jerk.

David Beckham attracted Hollywood stars Sunday the same way he draws defenders on the soccer field.

A glittery array of Oscar winners and entertainment world luminaries turned out for what was billed as an official welcome-to-Los Angeles party for the international soccer icon and his wife, pop singer Victoria.

With Tom Cruise and Will Smith playing co-hosts for the invitation-only bash at the Museum of Contemporary Art’s Geffen Contemporary gallery, the guest list was long and deep.

Director Ron Howard and producer Brian Grazer were among the first to arrive. Brooke Shields was there. “Desperate Housewives” star Eva Longoria popped in, followed by “American Idol” creator Simon Fuller, who managed the Spice Girls pop group that made Victoria Beckham famous.

Wesley Snipes and Quincy Jones came to welcome the soccer star, as did Bruce Willis, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher. Vivica Fox showed up too.

The Beckhams arrived with Cruise, accompanied by wife Katie Holmes, and Smith, with his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.

Cruise flew in for the bash from Germany, where he is shooting his newest film.

For the British Beckhams, it was a taste of classic Hollywood. A red carpet was rolled out at the entrance. A small army of police patrolled streets for blocks. There were limousines and TV cameras by the dozen. Helicopters thumped overhead.

Inside, the warehouse-like venue was transformed with couches, elaborate lighting and floral arrangements into a glittery nightclub. Music blared.

Tom Cruise, 44, is unwelcome for location filming at Germany’s military headquarters in Berlin because of his advocacy of Scientology, a German politician said Friday. The US actor-director is reportedly planning a movie about the July 20, 1944 attempt to assassinate Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler, who survived the blast bloodied but not seriously injured.

The German defence ministry said Cruise has “publicly professed to being a member of the Scientology cult”. Scientology masquerades as a religion to make money, Germany said, but leaders of the church reject this. Cruise’s producing partner Paula Wagner said the star’s own convictions had no relation to the film’s content. “Personal beliefs have absolutely no bearing on the movie’s plot or themes,” she said.

Cruise is arguably Hollywood’s most outspoken member of the Church of Scientology. He became involved with Scientology in 1990 through his first wife, Mimi Rogers. Cruise has publicly said that Scientology, specifically the L. Ron Hubbard Scientology Study Tech, helped him overcome his dyslexia. David and Victoria are set to move into a $30 million mansion near Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

The couple is moving to the States in the summer after the soccer star signed a deal with Los Angeles Galaxy and they are said to be keen on the seven-bedroom Beverly Hills property because of its secluded location.

A source told: ”It’s been a long process trying to find the ideal home but this one ticks the most boxes. The fact it is so close to Tom and Katie’s house is ideal for Victoria.”

The mansion includes a tennis court, swimming pool, home cinema, seven bathrooms, six fountains, two acres of landscaped gardens and a separate guest apartment. The long drives and secluded grounds offer security and privacy.

Neighbors of Tom and Katie confirmed that the Beckhams are interested in the house.

For Victoria this is the perfect place maybe because she will be close to her good friend Katie. They met last year on Paris’ Fashion Week and they have become very close. Victoria even attended Katie’s marriage to Tom last year.
